    Hi all ,
I have suddenly had a brain wave for evening décor and wanted something that involved tea light floating candles for water . I am not allowed actual flames as the museum the reception is being held is a listed building . I am assuming the normal kind of fake tea lights can't be put into water due to batteries ? Has anyone else used fake tea lights that float ?

    Thanks

Could you not put them on a lily pad type thing that floats so they don't come in direct contact with water? Not sure how else to do it and I haven't seen any before bar normal candles.

    Sorry wasn't much help.

Think a small flower thing would be a last choice option but would prefer just candles . Awkward I know but I don't want to be the bride who broke the rules and burnt the place down lol

He he I know what you mean. Were getting married in a barn so surrounded by wooden features so staying away from candles but going to weave fairy lights between the beams - hopefully no fuse problems there.

We will be using fairy lights on beams and with some other features and even thought about placing them in a glass thing , water free off course lol But saw something I loved and of course it's candles lol

You can get these floating glass tea light holders and then put LED tea lights inside them?

My sister had flashing LED lights surrounded with water beads (it looked amazing) as centre pieces. You could place them in water also i believe :) x
