Has anyone bought any wedding stuff from Etsy.. I've seen a lot that i love and would like to purchase. If anyone has used them before can you let me know what you thought, or does anyone have any recommendation for an online shop that does all types of wedding bits like decorations.
Thanks :) xx

It's just another version of the bay Hun.. Been out in America a while but only just becoming popular in the UK.. You will find the majority of sellers on there to be USA or China based.. Xxx

Just be careful and read their T&Cs cause alot of them say £x postage but the stuff gets stuck at customs and you have to pay another £x to release it xxx

I've ordered a necklace from there, only issue was that I had custom charges to pay which I was not informed about, however pleased with it on a whole

It's great for some really niche products...especially for cakes... otherwise its probably cheaper when taking postage in to account from the bay ************************" and other sites like that. I'm planning on buying some very unique cake icing moulds from there ... they're a damn sight cheaper as they're chinese copies that will do the same job without the branding and marketed as something else... Heard great reviews on them, they market them as things like soap and resin silicone moulds but they're identical to the icing ones... cheaper for doing the sugar lace on my cake!
And we lived happily ever after!

I bought my hair piece from there. An American seller. It arrived really quickly, no additional charges to the ones listed, and its soooo beautiful!! I couldn't find anything like it in the UK except in a bridal shop for over £300. I paid £15 for it!! Its stunning.
I would definitely buy from there again.

Ive been using ETSY for my wedding fans for myself and my bridesmaids and mum/MIL, got all five for under £10 with £5 postage. If you search for the right seller and a good price, you can find them on there! Ive found them very safe so far, might be using them for my wedding jewelery!

We've bought our wedding invites and guest book from a shop on etsy...they're due to be delivered from parcel force tomorrow...I thought the service and price was good however we paid a set price including postage to then get a request from the shop when the product was finished saying the postage was more than they thought and they wanted to charge me another $50! I haven't paid it as they'd already shipped my parcel, however I was then stung with a customs VAT charge when they entered the UK for £79 , so just be careful, the price could be great but u could get charged more in the long run x

i've seen some really cute coat hangers with names on that I thought I would get for my BMs. they're £9 each on this site, which is the cheapest I've seen anywhere. they ship from america so just worried about extra charges
CommentAuthorSJJ
I just had something delivered last week from a seller on there, from Canada. She sent it via UPS for a reasonable fee (all costs were up front as soon as I clicked post to Uk) and it arrived a lot quicker than I expected and no custom fees xx
CommentAuthor*KelBel*
Customs fees are charged if your order is over £15 but depends if the seller declares truthfully how much the product is...for insurance purposes they should legally do so tho x

Start with something cheap and see if you have any problems, then you wont be at risk of losing anything major.

My only recommendation is to find a seller that has experience shipping to the UK, a lot of the problems come when they don't understand how expensive it will be.
Popped some links for DIY hangers, these are difficult to do but if you're creative you'll save the worry of shipping and vat.
CommentAuthorStephHsoon2bBodkin
I would love to be creative but im not :( does anyone have any recommeded UK seller that does these types of coat hangers xx
