We're having a dj in the main room and hiring a fun casino for the other room, thought it would be a bit different and something for everyone to do, prize for person with most money/highest score at the end of the night

Just a DJ (and a piper at the church/drinks reception). I think we are enough entertainment!

hi girls, we're having a harpist playing during the welcome drinks, a pianist through the meal, a close up magician for after the meal, a dj, a singer and fireworks at midnight, id hate if people got bored after booking all that entertainment!! x

id be slightly pi ssed off if they do!! it hasnt actually cost that much though, without the fireworks its coming to around £500, i nabbed the singer for free, he's my uncles best mate and he's bloody fantastic, does all frank sinatra type stuff, should be nice! x

Hiya, we're going for the Big Band! Specifically, this guy... ********** I saw him headline at a charity gig in London a couple of years ago and I just knew he had to sing at my wedding!

We're just having a small, quiet wedding on the actual day - but when we get back from honeymoon we're having our evening reception with everyone who didn't get to the wedding (100+). I've started enquiring about DJ's - but h2b did mention an 80's trio that we'd seen a few months ago (they're not from the 80's but do covers of 80's songs and are really good). I'm thinking of enquiring how much it would cost to get them for the night (maybe a couple of half hour/45 min slots..??) - but I'm probably guessing they're going to be out of our budget (as I think we'd really need a DJ as well).

think were just having a dj for the evening tbh got sick of getting snotty emails back with silly quotes thought midweek weddings worked out cheaper, but noooooooooo as soon as they ask what it's for the price just triples :( xx

we are having a string quartet and cariacturist in day and a live band in the evening.... guests will be wowed if you can squeeze live music of any kind into your budget. There are some amazing DJ's though so if you cant squeeze a band in shop around. There are some very good ones.
