    Hi

I am getting married for the end time in August next year. We are getting married in a barn and I want a rustic/festival feel to the day.

I went dress perusing yesterday and I feel really deflated. My first dress was the dress i'd already dreamed of and now I don't know what my dream is. In my mind I was thinking i wanted something quite boho/floaty but am worried that that will be too plain (my o.h has indicated that he thinks i should have a bit of sparkle). I don't want to spend a fortune and was thinking about ordering online but now i have tried on about 17 dresses and they're so different when on I am worried that isn't a viable option.

I know that I'll know when I find 'the one' but I don't even know what style I should be trying on. Aaaaargh....any suggestions would be gratefully received!

    Hi vikki,

I would keep shopping, go to diffeent shops, try on as many different styles until you find the style you want and then look for those styles. Youll find the one! I went to about 8 different shops and gave up until the last one and i found my dress!

Youll get there, its definitly overwhelming xx

It really is your choice Vikki, if you wanted you could have a big massive princess dress, I always think your dress doesn't have to tie in with your theme most of the time people pick theme's around the dress.

Maybe you could go to a dress shop again to eliminate styles that don't suit you, that way if you did want to shop online you will know what you are looking for in terms of a shape and style.

    I hope that helps x

HI Vikki we are having a barn wedding too and I was convinced I wanted a tea dress. Then I went shopping and I have come out with a full lace A line dress with sparkles and a cathedral veil! not the plan haha
I think when you find the dress you will know, I never expected it to be such an immediate feeling but it was for me.

Don't stress out though, enjoy it, have a laugh with loved ones and be open to trying on everything as you might just surprise yourself. Still plenty of time to order

Also try W3d2B if you can, its a good place to try on lots of dresses with no pressure or time restraints and can give you a good idea on style even if you don't find THE dress

    xx
