Has anyone done this for their bridegroom, either as a surprise or with his agreement? I'm very much the organiser in our house and quite like the idea of getting it all planned (not that there is much to be planned, as v v small intimate wedding) and he has only to turn up. I'm not doing it to be controlling or bossy, he liked my previous surprises e.g. weekend away for his 50th and tends to delegate to me anyway!

I e not done it but almost. Think I could have happily organised things on my own anyway. He was not forthcoming in helping with ideas etc.

my h2b has let me choose everything I've contacted all suppliers chose the venue date and time (even chose mens suits) he just either agrees if he likes it or disagrees if he doesn't but to be honest he is currently training to become a pilot in the army so he has bigger things to worry about than flower arrangements lol xxx

Think I could easily do it! Its mostly been me organising anyway, think the only thing he wouldn't let me organise is his stag do! Xx
My oh has practically left everything to me too.. Really annoying I'd like him to have a say as well because I always find myself having to organise everything!
I've tried to delegate certain tasks to him ie arranging the vintage bus and things but his opinions on the smaller things like dj and photo booth and things are very short coming!
I would personally prefer a little bit more input from my oh but it depends on personal preference .. I prefer him to speak up a bit more!

We are doing it together. I come up with an idea and we talk about it. If he doesn't like it he goes off to find something he does like then we talk about that. It's so nice him being so involved I wouldn't want it any other way if I'm honest.

If he's happy with that arrangement then go for it.. it's whatever suits you as a couple :) my OH has been involved with everything and I love that. At the end of the day it is his special day too and I want him to be as involved as possible and love everything and all the decisions we have made together xx

My OH wants me to run everything past him to get his involvement etc but hes happy for me to arrange almost everything. I wouldn't do or get anything though that he wouldn't agree with/dislike xx

Aaahhh after reading that MrsK2b I'm now possibly thinking the same! lol - will he know its your guys wedding? I'm guessing he would as you need to give noticed etc and he needs to be aware of that to say hes not being forced etc lol x

I couldn't do it as I love talking about the wedding night and running ideas past my oh and him getting involved plus he the calm headed one so whenever I have problems with something he's the one that comes up with the solution lol x

My hubby had a good amount of input into the wedding so I'm pleased the day had choices and ideas from both of us.
