glitter i would normally agree with you there but the bride kept hinting at the fact they had discussed before what she wanted so i think he knew she wanted an english garden wedding but he totally didnt care! looked like he knew his parents would be able to afford it and wasnt to bothered whether hers could or not poor girl. if he really wanted to tip the nod to his uncle i reckon he could have given her the english garden wedding then had a small muscle man competition as entertainment lol! but yes i did still cry in the vows and broke my heart for the step dad! how on earth am i going to get through my wedding pmsl

One BIG day will lead to lots of little happy days !!

I hve just finished watching last nights episode... I hated it! What a selfish man he is! I think he could have done the wedding in a barn, had muscle men as entertainment, even had the alter the way he did but inside the barn using a decor company he could recreate it. I also think at that point he could have had someone say something about his uncle. even used some of the budget to go to muscle beach as part of the honeymoon even! Such a selfish tw@t!

I agree, he knew his parents could afford it, but he also knew her family couldnt!

lasts night episode was pants! the only bit I likes was the frock. he was selfish and just did what he wanted but that's the risk you take when you go on a show like that.

I seriously thought that she might have not gone through with it in the end when she realised that her step dad couldn't walk down the aisle with her.

anyway the series has taken a serious turn in recent series and not for the better, its all about getting the weirdest people on.

I mean did you see the preview for next week?!

As I haven't got any parents I wouldn't have minded yes he was a bit silly with the money firstly by paying for his mates to go out there, he picked a stunning dress that look ab gorgeous on and the fact he dotes on that little girl like she's his own not many men these days would do that! Yes it wasn't exactly the venue if you want to call it a 'venue' but he is a 'family' man not many blokes would cry ESP on TV I felt for homie thought it was a lovely touch I would love it if my h2b picked la for is to get married! He choose a stunning wedding ring so I think the boy done good she's lucky to have a guy like that cos let's face it it ain't many of those about!!

I can't watch the show anymore, I hate it... I can't be doing with arrogant grooms who seem to purposefully want to pi$$ their bride off lol.....

its all fake. They know exactly what they are getting them selves into.. They get options. They have what they want on the application form, given 12 grand and the producers pick everything. No offence but its her own fault if she didnt get the wedding she wanted, she knew what she was getting herself into when she signed the application form.. I know its 12 grand and i would love to spend that much on a wedding. Alot of it is 15 seconds of fame, the more abstract the wedding the more media attention.. My cousin got her application through( last week) to go on it and filled it out, sent it in, the producers then called her about possible going on the show and advised the wedding she wants she couldn't have and gave her a option, one of them was getting married underwater in a local swimming pool or at her local football club on game day. It would be good if it wasn't so abstract.

I've never seen this show nor do I intend to - it looks worse than Big Brother and that's saying something! Even knowing it is staged, I still wouldn't watch it. Having someone else organise absolutely everything for my wedding would be my idea of hell tbh.

I'm not surprised by that at all.

I didn't think this week's wedding was too bad actually. I thought it was awful that her only family present was her mum but I think he seemed like a sweet guy and obviously doted on her and her little girl.

I did think for a hairdresser, her hair was awful and was curious where she got the brooch bouquet from!

I have to say some of the ideas when said first sound awful but at the end seem amazing but this weeks one it did seem to be the venue for the groom also about the groom relative who died and if in doubt ask bank of mum and dad who help his own family and not the others .

I can't believe all brides are fully happy with the venues and stuff and remember seeing a follow up show where previous brides had thrown anniversary party to their ideal wedding instead . I do think somewhere in the contract is a clause that says if bride refuses or pulls out they have to pay it back or something like being sued

I think he was a (insert naughty word here)! The only way I would have gone is if there was going to be a blessing and party back in the UK for all my family to be at. But then he chose somewhere as far away as LA and a horrible venue to boot.

I'd be devastated if my nearest and dearest couldn't go, what a selfish wanker!

I have watched it from the start of the show and it's ok for people to slag it off it is ' entertainment' after all if people are willing to accept 12k for free then who wouldn't??? Cos I would I know a girl who got married on last years show and she had everything she liked so obv it's not 'staged' that much she was perfectly happy with her castle wedding and big dress, however I do think its unfair that they give the money to people who can afford it themselves I mean have you seen the families and the flash cars, houses designer clothes lol x
