Hi, I am getting married in May 15 and we have booked the venue and sent invitations (some say a little earlier but I need to know how much it is going to cost me). We are having a very relaxed wedding, getting married at 4pm and just having one big do, with some stragglers coming for the evening but still getting fed. We are having a hog roast and maybe a BBQ and just wondered because of the informal nature of the meal whether it is worth having a table plan or not. I have heard the stresses of having doing a table plan and don't want to add any extra stress on us before the wedding anyway. Would you think it would be a good idea to not have a table plan and just make sure there are enough seats for everyone instead? Thanks

I suppose as long as you dont mind who sits with who it doesnt matter - maybe just a quirky sign or chalk board etc with a rhyme about sitting wherever you like? Sure there would be an example online because I am sure I have seen one.
I am having one but mine is formal and I specifically wanted guests to be mixed up and am having a quiz on the table to get people talking.

"come as you are, stay as long as you can, we're all family now, there's no seating plan" :)

"now that we are together forever, please feel free to sit wherever"
