Right, i'd like to make my own pocketfold invitations, but i will be using my large work printer to do these and i'm a bit aprehensive about putting A6 sized pieces of paper in (i think it'll jam and break!).
Has anyone does these themselves?
I'm wondering if it's possible to position perhaps 2 inserts on 1 piece of A4 paper and then cut to size, but it's the setting it up on work that i'm worried about!
Has anyone does this before and can give me a bit of help?!

If its a big office printer, there should be settings for thick paper - on ours you have to use the bypass tray, not the usual paper hopper and select "thick paper 3" on the special settings button. Try some plain white card first, as though its something work related, so if it does get jammed you can pretend it was for a legitimate reason.

I can try, but ours were not pocket inserts...
If your printer will print C6 envelopes, then you'll be fine. What I did was to print at A5, fold in half, with the RSVP on the back, and a separate a4 information sheet folded in half then half again. I just found that it simplifies things no end.
If I have it right in what you're saying, then you could get four invites out on an A4 sheet, but this would have to be A4 legal (215.9mm x 335.6mm).
