So upset this evening as I heard a little tinkle on my laptop to find that my ER has lost a stone!! Managed to retrieve the stone but now I'm ringless :(

Is that the ring that was recently in the shop for something, resizing or something? Since you have the stone it shouldn't cost much to have it put back in, but it sucks that you'll be without your ring while it's being fixed :( at least it's happened now and not just before the wedding.

Yes, that's the re-sized one :( I'm talking to her bookface and said it shouldn't cost anymore than £20 to sort which is good.. As she's going to have my ER there to fix, I think I might kill two birds and get her to do my wedding ring at the same time x

Have you got the stone? If Donna is right and it was in for resizing then maybe they made it lose and they can fix the stone back in for free.

Yes, got the stone thankfully. Don't think it was in the re-sizing as it's an old stone. She checked the ring over when she re-sized anyway to see how the ring was wearing and what sort of condition it was in at the time anyway.

Yes, I suppose so.. Feeling a bit crappy though still but I've cheered up a bit as my OH went out and got me flowers bless her and my ring lady is going to make my wedding ring at the same time while she has my ER as it needs to be shaped :) xx

Aww Catherine I understand why you are upset, anyone would be, but looking at the positives at least you have the stone and it's not going to cost a bomb to fix :) and yay to getting your wedding ring made at the same time! x
