We're having a honeymoon gift list for people to contribute to different aspects of our honeymoon :)
Do people normally include details of the gift list in the evening invitations? Or just the day guests?

I put in the evening invites, but didn't make a big thing out of it. I had an insert for additional information - address to RSVP to, time of evening buffet, and a couple of sentences about gifts at the end.

You can put it in both I think; we are planning on doing a website and putting a list on there which people can use or not :)

We haven't put in for either, but I personally would feel a bit put out if I received an evening invite with a gift list...I don't know why. I'm just not comfortable with it so I'm probably a bit weird ....
From my point of view, guests will be paying for transport and drinks (and possibly babysitters, new outfits, etc) I just feel its a bit tacky demanding a gift on top of it...but I know I'm in a minority with this. I'm not as fussed with the day guests as we have drinks laid on all day and a four course meal, so feels less cheeky.

Yes! I have been through that but it also helped me get the ball rolling with booking stuff... probably for the best as h2b is deployed and I have to keep going on exercise so getting things sorted now is a must!
