I didn't have any "demands" of my bridesmaids apart from I chose the colour of the dress and had final say on the style but only after they said what they did and didn't like. Hmmmmmm, trying to think of anything I demanded and can't think of anything. I picked things that they were more than happy with and paid for it, they were allowed to pick their own jewellry and shoes style from either what they already had or if they wanted bought new, only my best mate bought new shoes.
Hmmmmmmm, I am a boring bride lol.

what about that in the two year prior to your wedding they are not allowed to have no more than 1/2 inch cut from their hair and only allowed to go to get the cut every 3 months
My sister was a BM for a uni friend a few weeks before our wedding. Some of you may remember my thread on the issue.
Bridezilla gone mad! She did the following:
Bought ugly teal linen just on or below the knee dresses that were really ill fitting and showed lots of cleavage. She then dictated that the BM's all had to pay for their own alterations to made the dresses fit them and also wanted them to alter so their b00b5 didn't show! She refused to pay for the alterations. The dresses were hideous.
She bought them ugly gold shoes to wear with the dress and wouldn't let them wear them before the wedding day to break them in. Plasters at the ready for shredded feet!
She then demanded they booked and paid for their own transport to the church from her parent's house where they were getting ready the morning of the wedding.
On top of that they had to pay £300 for 2 nights accommodation at the wedding venue because it was in Wales and they all live in SE England. They also had to pay for travel to Wales and back.
She wanted a 1920's themed Hen. The 3 BM's (not the MOH who rolled over at every one of the brides whims) spent money buying 1920's style outfits for the Hen, the bride just wore a normal dress as did the MOH!
She also dictated loose curls and nude make up but refused to pay for hair and makeup so they had to do themselves or pay. False eyelashes, fake tan and black eyeliner were banned. One BM always wears fake tan and black eyeliner and also has natural tight corkscrew hair. My sister has poker straight thick heavy hair that doesn't hold curls and being Chinese always wears black eyeliner, also, the pale makeup look doesn't work on her as she has naturally tanned skin.

I chose dresses for my BMs but did check they were happy. I've said silver hair accessories but said they could choose their own. They're doing their own hair and make-up as I can't afford to pay for them all, but they can choose to pay to have it done if they want to. If I'd been bridezilla I think I'd have insisted on those with short hair growing it to allow for matching hair styles. As it is they'll choose how to wear their hair.

I didnt ask my Bm's to be Bm's.... I showed them maxi dresses I liked asking what they thought (they both liked them), then showed them a few different styles of bright red shoe & asked which they preferred (they both prefer the same ones). I then told them they were BM's & their reply was "Damn right we are bridesmaids!"
Lovely Leesa asked if she could help with some of the stationery - so she has helped pu them all together once i had cut the shapes & scored the folds. She has asked if she can practise doing my dress up for me (which means i get more chance to try it on so no complaints there). She does have to drive me to the registry office though.
Auntie Bobbie as a non driver has to stay at ours from the time we pick her up until we are able to return her home anyway so she figures its a given that she has the kids for us on he night (her son will also hopefully be here too - this is her home away from home.... she even nearly gets her own key lol). She also has neat handwriting so when my h2b decided to stop unwanted guests he wants the names of each invitee on the invite.... I told her she had to do it cos her writing is neater than anyone elses lol.
Neither of them have mentioned specifics about my hen, however this is mainly being taken care of by our "Best Person" as we want a Sten do. So here is an event page set up on fb regarding such matters... so far it sounds like we might be paintballing during the day then getting drunk in the evening. (So long as there is sometime where i can have a massage, manicure etc i don't mind even if its done by my girlies but i will need recovery time after paintballing).
Pretty much everything is sorted.... i dont care how they have their hair or makeup, they are both individuals & should be treated as such. They both have their own styles, likes, dislikes when it comes to their image.
by doing it all myself... I really am in my element... does that make me boring? I am actually really looking forward to setting up the venue myself & making sure everything is on hand myself.

Ladies am much as we are impressed that you HAVENT demanded anything of your bridesmaids the point of this thread is to seewhat we could come up with in a fantasy scenario
eg

they have to reduce Carb intake to no more than 100g a day this then falls to less than 50 g a day in the 6 months run up to the wedding
IF I was a bridezilla, I would make every bridesmaid be there for every little thing I had to organise. Unfortunately, mine live all over the country, which of course I accept but it would be lovely if they all lived in the same town. I would make them all have the same hair style, same make up, same jewelry! I would totally ban fake tan and heavy make up. I would make sure we all went to a posh hotel somewhere abroad for my hen do (them paying of course, hahaha). I would make sure they were all skinny but definitely NOT skinnier than me (definitely not happening, one of my bridesmaids is a size 6). I would make them all wear the same shoes. My flowergirls would be in extravagant ball gowns which I simply can't afford haha, aaaand I suppose I would go all American and make my chief bridesmaid make a speech. I did ask her to but she didn't want to, which I understand :) Ohhhh if only we could all just be bridezillas and our nearest and dearests would still love us!!!! :)

IF I was a bridezilla I've have put them in dresses that didn't make them look glamourous so that they didn't upstage me. Plain makeup and hair do which I would not pay for.
I'd insist that they had to come to every single wedding dress shopping session (they actually wanted to in reality lol - they were excited).
They were not allowed to get pregnant.
They weren't allowed to be skinnier than me.
They must grow their hair.
Even if they had a significant family or friends event - I come first so if I want to see them for something they have to sacrifice their family and other friends.
Goodness this is hard - bring bridezilla isn't easy.

ive not given a single demand. Ive pretty much given them free reign, i picked and bought the dresses, but i made sure they were happy with them
i did tell my best mate she needs to be in flats though as shes 6ft and im 5 ft 4 hahaha. it was only a joke, but she said she'd rather not be towering over us all anyway.
Now, if i was a bridezilla.
Id pick the dresses and make them wear them even if they looked tw@ts. which would be ok anyway, as i need to look better than they do. Id insist they have a certain hair style and make up, and id want them to all have the same lenght hair - so better get yourself extentions if its too short! Oh, and you're paying for this yourselves, you should be greatful and HONOURED that I am buying you your dresses!!!

I would have made them cover the costs of the hen do and any dress alterations as well, and possibly made them lose weight if they were bigger than a certain size, as well as gaining if they were skinnier than me. In that case they would have to give me weekly updates, and would get dumped if they didn't stay on target.

If i decided to go all bridezilla i'd make all the bridesmaids other than my daughter look hideous so i look better (but im not that mean and they all love the dress they have) I would have insisted a bridesmaid have lazer tattoo removal on a tattoo thats spelt wrong on her forearm! (im covered in tattoos and love them - just not when spreading, is spelt speadin) I would have made a bridesmaid break in my shoes for me, i would have banned my dads new wife from the wedding all together, shes ok i guess, but she calls me daughter in her stupid accent, and they got married 8 weeks after meeting for the first time. Im sure given some thought i could be an excellent bridezilla lol xx

I would make the 18 year old bridesmaid have her tattoo removed, and the 19 year old one wash out her hair dye and have her natural colour (it's not blue or green or pink or anything, just a red). Also they'd have carefully measured heels to get them all to the same height. Although then I'd have to wear even higher ones to be taller, so maybe not, as I hate wearing heels.

If you met my BM's you would know that if I even tried to make any unreasonable demands they would likely stage a rebellion lol
The only demands that I would say I am doing is they are all in black floor length dresses which I am buying with red shoes in the style they feel most comfortable which they are buying. I think due to the time of year we're going to be going for up do's for their hair.

My BM seem to think I want them to be a certain way i.e they keep asking how I want them to have their hair - I really dont mind. I chose cadbury purple but they had overall say on the dress, after all they have to wear them and keep them after/ wear them again if they want to. I have bought them some earrings and a bracelet and as long as their hair isnt exactly the same as mine and I can put my make up bits in one of their handbags I bought them I dont really have any demands.

One of My bridesmaids has just attempted to bleach her hair 3 weeks before the wedding and turned her hair green........ I think if I was a Bridezilla, I qwould have totally lost my rag and would demand that none of my bridesmaids are to do ANYTHING with their hair without prior permission from me and ONLY by a top salon or stylist at there own expense............Gulp

That they turn up half hour before start time for any events to do with wedding. That they attend at least one of the hen doo. I'm having one in Cardiff and then a local one for thos who can't afford/get time of/have kids I did ask if they could grow there hair out a bit for the styles I have in mind. But just saw on the book face my junior bm who's 7 has had her hair cut and it's a really short uglypbob, just hoping she does not doo it again and let's it grow out now.
But I'm not really the type of person to go to her mum and be like why have you let her get her hair cut like that? I want it long for my wedding.

I wish I could've insisted that SIL (a bridesmaid) actually brushed her hair on the day. On a more unreasonable note, I would've insisted she got her tattoo removed from her back, that way I could've picked pretty dresses for my bridesmaids instead of the one that covered their backs (and her tattoo) like she insisted upon.

Even contemplating my dog Cleo walking (haha walking, thats funny) down the aisle is just bizarre. She would be much too excited and curious and easily spooked by anything randomly moving to be of any use.
No, she will safely tucked in the cottages having a snooze and will be checked up on every so often to ensure she is doing fine. The let loose at the end of the night to see her mummy and daddy (the cottage is on the venue and they allow dogs)
