What is with it? All I keep seeing is people advertising and it's NOT always being removed, if they can get away with it why can't we! Getting annoying

Yeah eBay's bride one's 5 posts on same subject advertising are still there. Now there's this annoying diet shake lady, the kimchee dress one amongst others.
Met June 2009 on my Birthday,Met again July 2009 and got
together, May 2010 Moved in,Jan 2011 got pregnant,
August 2011 Got our own place, 2011 Had our Baby Girl,

The diet shake one is funny - she managed to go through and dig up old threads (one I believe was 3 years old) with exactly the same message but has yet to stumble accross the main weight loss 2014 thread! I assumed the bay ones had already been deleted after the stopped appearing on the first page... I could have sworn I saw one or two posts by mods on other threads since those came up.

The ebay posts were closed and the links removed. It must be difficult for the moderators to read every post and every thread to spot advertising. I would suggest if you spot something and you don't think a moderator has seen it, private message one of them to draw their attention to it.

Hi ....
Can I just point out that the moderators do not sit on the site 24/7 we all have jobs etc and give as much time as possible to the site, I have been removing links over the last week even though I have been on holiday.
If you spot a advertising problem please send an email ( which goes to all of us) so that we can act on it as soon as we know. There are times that we have seen and removed links etc before any of you have noticed them .
Please don't give us a hard time, we are doing this unpaid and try our upmost to keep it an Ad free site for you to enjoy .
well said lala - it is extremely difficult to be a moderator on forums with this many members and you obviously have your own lives, jobs and families that are far more important. It only takes us a few minutes to copy the thread link into an email to a mod and let them know. xx

Thankyou Danielle ..... I'm actually doing this while I sit in an airport lounge in Seattle waiting for a flight , With an hour I will be away for approx 9 hours while I fly home , I have tried to break all aviation rules and have internet on during flight just so I can keep an eye out for advertisers but apparently I'm not allowed lol lol....
You should be enjoying your holiday Lala! I agree with missweedles as there have been a lot of advertising posts in the last week or two and it's very frustrating to the point I haven't bothered to be here much... but at the same time, you aren't paid for this and also have lives to run alongside crowd control here lol. As a compromise, could more moderators be 'recruited' to help? x

Just to reiterate what has already been said. All us mods either work or run families or do both and get on the site as much as we can, but obviously there will be times that we aren't about. This also applies to responding to emails you may send us too.
You can help us to stop these advertisers by reporting them ASAP either by PM or by using the above email address to alert us.

Well said ladies. That's what I meant with my post, you have jobs and in some cases are still busy planning your own weddings, plus family life. We've been unlucky this week, there's been a couple of really persistent advertisers.

As always we seem to have spats of advertisers that seem to think they are above the rules of the forum and i understand why this is annoying and lead people to make comment on it but by contrast most of the time we spot advertisers long before anyone sees them ... so an occasional comment about how free of advertisers would be nice to see ..
Us mods are usually around most days and yes there are some times when we aren't but we do all have lives away from the forum.
It is peak wedding season and we usually get a spate of advertisers at this time, we get rid of as many as we can before they are even seen by the brides on here. Give us a break and bear with us.
