My inspiration for my colour palette is the Peacock Feather...my issues are there are too many beautiful colours in a feather..and this is really causing me some stress!

    1) My venue's reception room is ornate and decorated with gold and cream walls with gold carpets and curtains (see photo on profile)..so that is a good base to start from.

    2) I am unsure re the colour frock I will be wearing...it could be colour it may not????

    3) I like to be a little unusual and not follow the crowd (no offence crowd!)..so would love a scheme folk would be suprised at - in a fabulous way!

    4) My wedding party is 1 FG, 1PB, 3 young BM (10-13) 1 adult MOH. I would like them to be slightly different but on a similar theme..

    5) I am NOT having flowers. Feathers, candles and crystals for me.

Thanks for taking some time in having a think for m..other folks weddings I can cope with..but, seems mine is alittle too difficult!

I am loving the lace green dresses... you can always have the bluey purple as a bow around the dress too!
think will be great against the gold and ivory..
What about an old style pitchers in the middle of the table (or a really tall thin vase) , cream ones with peacock feathers coming out of them and bluey purple lace/ribbon?

    Thanks ladies.

I will check out the link!

Karlie - my table centrepieces are going to be vases with feathers (Ostrich and Peacock) on a colour change light box, so thats sorted (ish!) ..just the colour issues...I am liking an appley green , with Royal blue...but my likes sort of change everytime I see a different combination!
