    Hi,

Has anyone every tried a colonic massage. I've heard a few people mention they have had one and lost around 7lbs and 3" off there stomach.

Wondering if its worth a shot?

    Hi,

While I haven't had it done, all it does is move along that which is already there. It will help in the short term, but I can't see it making any difference in the longer term.

    Hope that helps.

if its the same thing as colonic irrigation then you wont lose that much. I have had 2 colonics over the past few weeks, and I would be lucky if i had lost 1lb!

linzi - Its apparantly external, just a really intense massage around the stomach area.

special - thanks for info, think i'll save my pennies and up the exercise! :)

You can pretty much do it on yourself. Just rub in small circles in a larger clockwise circle on your stomach. Actually works VERY well and costs nothing.

I had it combined with colonic irrigation although more to help ease ibs rather than weight loss. Didn't notice any weight loss/smaller stomach - maybe a couple of lbs in the short term Xx

I have had it done too and whilst I did lose a few pounds it was all ahem internal so made no difference to my figure over all. It did help with my bloating and I did feel so much better afterwards and would do it again as a theraputic thing

My son suffered with constipation when he was a baby - the health visitor showed me how to do it (amateur version of course) - helped him x

This sounds interesting - I've never heard of it before....looked it up and it's really expensive?! Can't believe someone can charge £50 to rub your tummy! It would have to work wonders before I spent that :)
