I'm doing my own head in. Just happened across R0na1d J0yc3 Linette this evening and love it! So sparkly!! Found a lady selling it in my size for £250 on the bay. Arrrrggggghhhh! Damn my 'can't make a decision and stick with it' brain.

They are both beautiful. The first one is very elegant. Believe it or not Becci, it's ivory in that photo not blush. They don't make it in blush. I thought exactly the same thing when I first saw it!

I'm going with the second one. I love the sparkles! Also, I have a short body and long legs, so the second dress will be much more flattering. To be honest, we are having our ceremony in a church but the reception is in a marquee in the woods, so elegance isn't something I'm overly fussed about. I think in the sun of a beautiful August day the second one will come into it's own with all its swarozski crystals.

The second dress is £1200 to buy in shops. I have found a lady on the bay selling hers in my size with no alterations. The only thing wrong with it is a few marks which didn't come out in dry cleaning underneath. I have seen lots of pictures and she has proved you can't see the marks when wearing the dress. Starting bid was £150 and Buy It Now £300. She said she desperately wants it to go to someone who will love it as much as she does and not just sell it on for profit. We've chatted loads and she has cancelled the listing and offered it to me for £200! Postage will be £13 and she is taking it to a seamstress to make sure the rest of the dress is perfect at no extra cost to me. Such a lovely lady. Even offered to drive half way to where I live (4 hours away) to save me postage.

I think it is safe to say I have DEFINITELY found my gown! I should have it in my possession by the end of next week!! So exciting. Thank you for your opinions ladies.

I tried on a about 45 dresses before finding the one.

I went out with a very set idea of what I wanted and all the dresses I tried on that fit that criteria were lovely and looked good but were not the one. I wanted an a-line, Ivory dress with a sweetheart neckline and lace sleeves, I wanted lots of lace and bling
The last store I went to I only went with my future mother in law as my mum was not in the country at the time and my sister recently emigrated to the Falklands!
She pursuaded me to try on a white, a line dress with minimal lace and bling, with one shoulder strap, no sleeves! I tried it on just to appease her and it ended up being the one! I even tried on exactly the same dress in Ivory and decided on white.

My mother and aunt came up the next weekend and my aunt ended up in tears! I didn't get teary, I got giggley! They practically had to wrestle the dress off me!
I'm having the pattern slightly changed to include a train and scalloped lace edging on the bottom of the skirt but it is so beautiful and exclusive to the shop I went to

I'm also happy about my dress but the problem is the veil that goes with the dress, the wedding shop doesn't do it anymore and without the matching veil I don't feel as special as I felt with the matching veil. To be honest, without that veil I'm not as in love with the dress as I was when I first tried it on. The thing is I was going to pay for the dress first then get the accessories after but when I put a deposit down for my dress I asked the woman who use to work at the wedding shop that I wanted to save the veil and another veil that you suggested to try but it turned out that she only saved the veil that she suggested and not the prginal veil that I wanted. Being it's from the disney collection the wedding ship I've chosen no longer does them so they know had one of the veil left but I found out that the matching veil was sold to someone else which I'm ever disappointed about and now I can't find a veil to go with my dress. There is an alternative but it means pay for it online and get it shipped from USA which I don't really want to do. I don't know what to do about it. What do you think I should do? xx

Is it too late to cancel the order on your dress and choose something else?

Personally I've just put a deposit down on my dress and haven't even thought about veils - was going to sort that when I went for my first fitting.
