I have found a dress which I thought was lovely so I bought it.
My concerns are whether I would have found a dress better and was still within my budget. I hear all the time that you know when you have found "your" dress. This has not happened and I have bought the dress outright. I do not get Married until Feb 17 however I have been under pressure to buy as soon as can.

Does anyone have any good advice or tips on how they felt when looking for a dress or any advice on what I can do now.

I really could do with some help!!!

    Many Thanks
    Gemma xx

The only reason I felt like the dress was the one was because my mum cried and that woman is heartless. So it was a big thing.
I didn't get that "wow" feeling, the only time I did was when I tried on a veil and I didn't end up buying it.

    Are you having dress doubts?
I am, I haven't seen my dress since November and all I can think is, did I choose the right one? Id recommend not looking at it, online or anywhere else because my dress looks completely different on me than it does on the woman modelling it.
I think if you purchased it it must have felt right to do at the time, pressured or not. I certainly felt pressure to go out and get a dress, I don't think we'll get that wow feeling until the day we walk down the aisle or at least you have the whole outfit on at the same time.

I agree with Stephanie on not looking at the dress (and don't look for any other dress online).
About the feeling, I'm sure you'll feel it when you have the whole outfit on :)

If you have the dress you could try it on again, that's what I have done and realised my dress is great.
There's nothing to stop you trying on again, if you have the dress to sell on x

Try it on again. Do your hair and makeup nice and it will help you get a full picture of what you will look like xx

When i tried on the dress i gasped and paid for it. Since then ive looked online and it looks horrid on the model so im having dress doubts. I also didnt try on manh dresses before it and it was only the second bridal shop id been too. Ill be making another trip down to see it and try it on again to see if i still have the same feeling

I literally tried on about 50 dresses in about 7 different shops and I couldn't find the dress that made me feel the "this is the one" feeling so I thought I was going to have to settle for one that was really nice. don't get me wrong a lot of the dresses were beautiful but I thought id get that feeling like you see in the films.

I had been by myself whilst looking as I knew what I wanted to wanted to look by myself. I then took my mum mil and sil to 1 shop to help me pick out of a few id whittled down and they were having a designer weekend so I tried on a few different dresses and finally got that feeling! I knew straight away it was the one and everyone cried which also helped the choice!

I would definitely get your hair and make up done, go with your mum mil etc and try the dress on again, if your not completely happy I would look for another one or else you wont be 100% satisfied. Hopefully once your all done up and you try the dress on again youll realise it was perfect. If you don't get that feeling don't worry, just as long as you love it and are happy and know its the one you want to wear! x
