I am looking to get married on Friday 28th October 2011, but no matter how much I look I cannot seem to find a good enough venue. I am looking for something that includes the ceremony, wedding breakfast and buffet for about 90 people (78 adults + 12 kids) for £2500 max.
Can anybody suggest anywhere that would fit my budget. Am looking in Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire or Warwickshire.
Many thanks :)

Have you tried any of the hotel offers like Village etc. They do the whole wedding for £1,000 for 50 odd guests??
Soon to be Mrs Mawee!

- Room hire for ceremony, meal & reception - 3 course meal with coffee for 50 people - Evening buffet for 70 people - Arrival drinks - Champagne for speeches - Glass of wine with meal - DJ - Red carpet, chair covers & sashes, linen, tableware etc - Bridal changing room - Bed & breakfast for me and H2B for the night - Dinner, bed and breakfast for 1st anniversary - 3 months gym membership - Master of ceremonies - Wedding planner (theoretically!)
We're currently having a bit of a problem with the wedding planner (we've been told she's unavailable till 2 weeks beforehand!!!) but we are going in to speak to them on sunday and demand better service! I know their 2nd planner has left and she's a bit busy bvut still... Will update you x

Hey
I actually live near blaby and I think I know where you are on about. I have read some pretty bad reviews online about them (although a few good in there too) so I am giving them the benefit of the doubt and I'm going to see them on Friday with my h2b.
have you tried the holiday inn, i know they do a cheap package, but not sure how much, and the one in the centre of leicester is supposed to be quite nice, i live in a village nw leicestershire :) x
I have know my soulmate for 27 years and on the 6th August
I married him and became Mrs Garnham.
It was most definitely the happiest day of my life.
I love married life !!!!

Wow Kaytee that is a really good price - Wish I could find a deal like that, most im looking at for minimum of 65 guests is approx £3500
CommentAuthorKayteeG
It is a fab price, just hope it doesn't mean they'll scrimp on quality of service! x
CommentAuthorClairebear67
Lets hope not, you got a real bargain there. : ) x

Keep an eye on group... on Some fab deals on there and if you can broaden they area make sure you check every day for Leics, Cov, Notts and Derby. Most of the ones that they advertise have been for less than 2k but sometimes there are only a few so get in quick

There is a place in Tamworth called the castle hotel just up from Tamworth castle that is nice for photos and I think the venue is £999 and that includes drinks cake and sit down meal with eve buffet too. Its called the castle hotel. I think there are a few girls on here getting married there. If you didn't want to get married there you can get married in the castle I think then use that as the evening reception.

We live in Derby and are using the M1ck3ov3r c0urt H0t3l which we can highly recommend it is a classic case of don't judge a book by its cover. If you are in Nottingham Katie you could look at 5wancar farm or even the university I think its Trent that hire out their venues.
