hi ladies, i went shopping for my wedding dress back in august, and fell in love with the third one i tried on! i also tried a veil on with it, it was only shoulder lenght, and i absolutely loved it! but it was £190! now, ive never been married before so ive not got a clue when it comes to prices, but that sounded expensive to me! lol can anyone suggest anywhere i might be able to get a veil but cheaper?...xx

Bay of e is great for things like this.. you can find lovely veils for as little as 30 quid. Also some high street stores sell them in their bridal collections that are much cheaper than bridal store ones. xx

Got some sites, will put them on your wall - basically the shop quoted me 165, I've asked for the same design from these sites and was quoted 55 and 70!

BTW my veil was 200 quid but is cathedral length and covered in diamontes so i would say that a shoulder length veil for 190 quid is a tad pricey! xx

aww thank u, will have a look into it! i wouldnt mind, but it was nothing over the top, just a plain veil, but i loved it with my dress! but i just thought it was expensive!...xx

I got mine off the bay of e and blinged it up myself I love it!
CommentAuthorsuzky123
That is expensive. I have a cathedral length with diamantes to match the dress and it cost £165 so for should length then the price is OTT. I suppose it depends on how its made and the material though.
cant wait to be Mrs Evans less than 3 weeks woooo

Was it made from silk? Or cheaper netting? You can tell if it is silk if it is smooth when you fold a bit over and rub it together between your fingers. x

i got mine of the bay of e, some one was selling it unused and with tags still attached, when i got it i looked on the website to see if i had got a bargain, i did, on the proper website it was £150.00 and i scored it for £16.00, it's gorgeous and has diamontes and is just ssoooooooo perfect that it even matches my dress. good luck in your searching xxxx

I just ordered one on bay of e - undecided if I actually want one and whether it will look right or not, so found a really nice one that is about elbow length maximum and had free p&p - if it looks nice will be a bargain at a fiver, but if not then I havent lost out too much xx
