Have you all picked your First Dance because its YOUR song or because of the words???
We was going to have You My Best Friend by Queen............. as we both love that song AND the lyrics...and he REALLY is my best friend. however we have been ummin and ahhhing for a few weeks now as its not a slow dance.... its not a fast dance either..
So we spent all night last night going through song we BOTH really like and the lyrics etc.... and have changed our minds to "The Power of Love" by Frankie Goes to Hollywood... It is a slow song and the words are perfect albeit a very long song of nearly 6 mins, so i will deffo have my lime light lol..
Have any of you changed your minds about the First Dance Song??

Yes we are having doubts on our choice of song... we were going to have ronan keating this i promise you but then i heard a few other songs that i thought would be appropriate and now we are stuck! lol

I couldn't find a first dance song with the right words for us so we chose something with meaning to when we first met each other. My h2b left the lyrics to 'I get a kick out of you' by Frank Sinatra when we first got together so we will be using that and as we have a live swing singer to sing it live for us and change the words from 'you obviously don't adore me' to 'you obviously just adore me' it will make it perfect for us.

We are having Flowers in the Window by Travis as we both had the radio on and it played and we text at the same time to say how fab it was and it was when we both realised we was in love :-) xx

we havnt decided yet. We are thinking about Run by leona lewis as we both love that song but we have a list of about 20 songs for the ceremony and first dance that we need to decide between. there are some on there that only one of us likes so we are going to go through them this week hopefully, cross off the ones that only one of us like and then choose bewteen the others

My two friends were asking me what 'our' song was and when i said we didnt have one they really looked at me funny and asked how we couldnt have a song... Its not my fault we just dont have one lol!..
I think it more the words that mean something to. Im finding it really hard to find songs..ill sit down with h2b when i see him at the weekend and get it sorted!!!
