    Hello ladies

We are currently having a dilemma over centre pieces.
We originally decided on flowers as I looove them and my mum offered to pay for them, then we thought about it and OH is a huge fan of lego and we have lots of the architecture stuff all over our house so we thought it might be nice to tie that in instead?

These are our current options, and I would appreciate some opinions!
Option 1 - square glass vases filled with flowers which match the bouquets, buttonholes etc.

Option 2 - Large round bowls of lego with a little sign saying "You have from now until the end of the main course to build the most imaginative LEGO model you can.
1 entry per table, the best table will win 2 extra bottles of wine to share! Good luck!"

(Poll function doesn't seem to be working for me!)

I have to say the Lego idea is fun however its flowers everyday for me, unless the lego really goes with your whole wedding theme, or it will seem really random. Do you really want people messing around with Lego while they should be eating? It would fill the time between courses tho. X

I think go with the lego !! the more random and the more about you , The better .. But it really depends on whats important to you, yes flower centrepieces are beautiful but also pretty boring, flowers in a vase are just that. they don't show your personalitys or your uniqueness :)

How about you stick with the flower center piece's but give everyone lego as favors and have them do the competition that way? I love the lego idea it's really unique and it will keep little kids and big kids alike entertained whilst they wait for their dinners!!

i personally prefer the flowers in the middle as looks more appealing and that is what people will see in the room. but i like te idea suggested for lego competition as favour. that way you get the best of both x

I love the idea of the lego, think it's brilliant. Although i do like MrsD2B's idea of having it as the favours, and still having the flower centrepieces too. But lego is unique, I can't say I have ever been to a wedding where they did this! xx

I love the lego idea (its our back up if our centepiece idea fails) so could you have the bowls of lego sat in a ring of flowers? That way you incorporate both and can still involve your mum in helping with flowers but guests can get to know each toher and have fun building. Although if we did lego, i fully expect one model to be a massive c0ck!

I love flowers but the lego sounds like fun and I'd do anything for free wine lol. At the end of the day it's down to personal choice. It would get people and give them something to do during courses.

I really like the Lego idea, very different to the norm and could be a way of getting the table talking to and getting to know each other. I think as others have suggested, try to find a way of having both.

Oh my lorrrddd the lego idea is fabulous!
The only issue for me would be lego and small children.
If there are no children attending go for it. how fun!!
