I am doing my own catering. Thats ridiculous for what they are giving, top hotels dont charge that! Phone round some more companies if you really are set on not cooking/catering yourself! x

We are having reception in our garden momari and as my h2b works for Brakes we are ordering loads of scrummy food from the catalogue and some is cooked already and h2b just bunging the rest in oven the morning of wedding while I am at friends house getting ready. If you have good people around you to help, you won't have to lift a finger lol. But you do what makes you happiest and will leave you relaxed for your big day. xx

If it's only 20 people the catering isn't that overwhelming (and this is coming from someone with nearly 15 years of experience in the industry) and you can do it so cheaply but still have good quality food. Get a group of friends together, go to your nearest supermarket, or Iceland believe it or not is EXCELLENT for this sort of thing, pick up a load of nibbly bits/salads/quiches etc. Most of it can be cooked off the day before (this is where your friends come in) and all you need to do on the day is put it out. 20 covers should cost at the absolute most of £100 and it's just as good as what you get from an outside caterer

    It's right what they say
"The course of true love never runs smoothly"
But if it had been easy then we wouldn't love each other as
much as we do right now - 1 week to go :D
