Hello ladies so I'm getting married this Saturday (!) and I really can't decide what veil to wear. I originally wanted a birdcage veil so I bought one but recently my friend asked me to try her cathedral length veil and I loved it as well! She's happy to lend it to me for the day.
As i really cant decide between the two I was thinking about wearing the long veil to the church and then swapping it for the birdcage veil for the reception... has anyone done anything like this? Or is this a bit over the top? Im also trying to work out the logistics?! When will I swap the veils etc

Im sure people do, people even buy spare dresses for the evening so it would be no problem I dont think. Plus exciting, I really wanted a veil but my headpiece doesnt need one, soooooo wish I could have had the option to wear 2!! :-)

I think that's a fab idea. I had a church length veil and as much as I loved it I couldn't wait to get it off as it drove me mad. I planned on wearing it until after the first dance but I took it off before dinner!
Thanks so much! I feel a lot better about it now as was really worried it'd be very ott and my mum doesn't like the idea... But since the wedding is in 2 days I don't think I'll be able to make that decision in such a short space of time plus have other things to sort so I'll have two!
