Does anyone know if and how much of % of tax you have to pay on jewellery if you have it imported from a different country. My h2b is looking at a rather swish ring from the states but im reluctant to buy it due to not knowing if you have to pay import tax or custom prices. Any help on this would be great thanks x :)

I got mine from the states hun....the seller specifically put on the envelop that the contents were of the value of £15 to avoid theft and tax! x

Thanks :) h2b's ring is a titanium puzzle ring and i haven't seen anything like it before. I think i'll risk it and get his from there i don't think it's more than £20 with postage (must double check that though)
I had seen a few i have liked myself that have been from the states too, my only concern was having to pay some ridiculous amount of taxes etc on it as well as the cost. x

Could you contact the buisness/seller and ask them to put something on the packaging in order to avoid this. Alot of sellers will in order to increase buisness!!!
