Hi everyone, wondering if you can help.
We're starting to look around and see what sort of honeymoon we want to have.
Thing is, we haven't really put any money aside for a honeymoon so we cant have anything too expensive.
Do any of you lovely ladies have any suggestions for somewhere nice but not too expensive?
    Thanks xxxx

Have you thought about having a mini-moon in the uk or europe its very chic to do something romatic and low key atm =) I found a few interesting links just on the G search engine. I've put a good looking one on your wall.

if you're flexible on where you wana go you can do a late deal maybe? put aside X amount and then a few weeks before check out the travel agents and see what they've got :) xx

Or save up and when you've got a decent amount together book something on g'pon - they always have a good variety of options available x

you could always have a mini moon like suggested and then have your honeymoon on your first anniversary, you could ask people to give you money as a wedding gift to go towards your honeymoon too.

Me and my h2b have been telling people we would like money as a gift. Obv its up to each individual as to wheter or not they wish to do this.

Then after the wedding we are going to book a last minute holiday as this is the cheapest option.

Only downfall is you dont know how much you are going to get so cnt really decide on location.

A cottage in France can cost about £300 for 5 nights (we're doing this may half term) ... Then it's just getting there,we've worked out £100 for the ferry across the channel and £100 for petrol...as flying as a family of 5 was expensive but could be an option for two of you x

Have you checked out travelzoo? They're more last minute (5-6 months), but you can look now and see what kinda places they have and costs x

    Thanks Ladies :)

Mickaylah - We're not doing the money poem thing, as I hate getting them, I think its a bit rude, instead we're telling our guests thats theres no gift list, no money wanted, spend the money on a few extra drinks and have a good time :)

KelBel - Love the idea of a cottage somewhere, will defo be looking into that, Thanks hun x

MrsAshman2b - Will also be looking at the uk minimoons too!!

Love this site and all the lovely ladies x x Thanks x x

I think it depends what your budget is? We have done Turkey for 2 weeks for £300 each all inclusive which was cheap to me?! Try Teletext holidays as always been good for us and book late xxx

We're going to Spain for two weeks (inc apartment, flights and spending money) for cheaper than it would have been to go back for 4 nights to the Boathouse in the Lake District H2B booked for my 21st.. Sometimes abroad is a lot cheaper than UK xxx

Hey hun :) if you are looking at going abroad, we went to Majorca for 7 nights all inclusive for £300 each. It just depends on your budget really. If you're looking to stay in the UK, you could try a company that hires out log cabins with hot tubs & stuff - they're usually not too badly priced depending on the time of year. A little further afield, I know people who have rented little cottages in Ireland for a week in the countryside and from their photos it looked beautiful! Good luck :) xx
