We were going to name the tables tanks but we really wanted both our loves and that is Motor sport heroes, so we have gone for that but great idea thanks
How about incorporating it onto your stationery - so invitations, table plan, place names etc?

How about buying a bag of those little green toy soldiers and adding one to each of your favours? Also If you are planning on some bunting you could personalise it by including the insignia for his regiment or add some triangles of camouflage material.

Oh and another idea is if you are having chair signs have yours as MRS and his as his rank instead of MR.

Could you incorporate a bugler somewhere to do a fanfare?
30th August 2014 was the best birthday ever.
It was the day that I became Mrs. Dixon.
