Oh dear, all getting a bit out of hand. Nope you were not bridezilla, this is something she should not be discussing on your hen do.

Are any of the best men on the top table? I'd understand if one was, but if none of them are surely he should understand this. We only had hubby's son who was best man at the table as he was one of the kids. The other best man, his brother, sat at another table.

I don't think you are being a bridezilla at all and are perfectly within your rights to be annoyed with her. She sounds as if she is trying to take control of your wedding and make it about herself, and that is not something I would be happy about either. It is up to you and your OH where you want the members of the bridal party to sit and they should accept your decision, no one else should be getting involved or telling you what to do. Is she a member of the bridal party as well or just a guest?

As for your hen do, she should not have been making it about herself or turning it into a competition against what happened during the stag do, and if she wants to talk about her own wedding and have the spotlight on her, she should have saved it for another day, perhaps her own hen do? It was your hen do, not hers and she should have respected that. Very selfish I think - I'd feel exactly as you do.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure what to do about people like that other than to just try and not let them get to you too much.

No your not being a bridezilla it was your hen so she should have kept her mouth shut.

I think you have to let them get on with it if I'm honest it seems like she appears to be a bit of a handful and he is probably too scared to stand up to her x

am i the only one who wants to know what went down on the stag do lol?!

If she mentions if again, remind them you are free to have who you want or not at your top table, just as they are free to have no best men at theirs. What is good for the goose, etc.

does she even realise how she behaved on the hen do? some people are just so self absorbed. im shocked someone didnt say something.

    Congratulations!

I must admit when I was planning my wedding everytime I went to one I was noting what I did and didn't like, but I didn't go on and on about it. I certainly wouldn't have talked to strangers about it. At my younger brother's wedding a few months before mine there was some discussion about my wedding, but only where other people initiated it and only because it was the last time I'd see some of them before the wedding day, so it was a good chance to talk.

As for her wanting the same dresses and suits, consider it flattery, she obviously likes your taste.

30th August 2014 was the best birthday ever.
It was the day that I became Mrs. Dixon.
