Hi everyone, I need some advice. I'm unsure as to weather to have my elder sisters as my bridesmaids or not. I've always planned on having my 2 nieces ( 5&7) as my flower girls and my 2 nephews (2&3) as my page boys but now I'm thinking, do I want my sisters to be bridesmaids aswell? I just think it might be a good idea to have them there to help me as I'm not sure my nieces will be old enough to do my dress etc plus it might be hard work for me to try and keep them all in check as they are all quite young. What does anyone else think or is there anyone else with the same experiences? Thanks

This may not be what you want to hear, but why not hold off on your decision until closer to the big day? A lot can change in two years. If you wait until closer to the time and you'll be better equipped to make your choice.
Do you not have anyone else that you want to a bridesmaid? I don't think it's a good idea to have the girls do up your dress.

i have my sister as moh and my eldest daughter as bridesmaid so they can keep my 2 flower girls and 2 pageboys under control! have no shortage of dress helpers though as both my mum and mil2b are going to be in the room in the morning to lend a hand. im looking forward to seeing and helping all the girls get dressed up and wouldnt ave it any other way as far as im concerned the most important people on my wedding day will be my family so the more chaos the better :) but everyone is different but im thinking if you dont have some one else i.e your sisters then you are going to be stressed trying to deal with them all yourself!

One BIG day will lead to lots of little happy days !!

This is exactly why I'm not having any children in the wedding party except for my stepsons who will be 8 and 16 by the time so know better than to misbehave lol..
I'd have them if you want them to be a part of your day, not to babysit their kids.. Either way they will have to be with you on the day anyway, either as parents or bridesmaids/parents xxx

I'd love for them to be my bridesmaids as I was for both of them when they got married. They will be with me getting ready along with my mum so there'll be plenty of helpers etc.I'm the same Laura, I want all my family around me on such a special day. I haven't mentioned anything to them so I think i'll speak to H2b to see what he says. Thanks for your comments :) x
