I am getting married in March 2017 and still haven't got my bridesmaid dresses!!! The reason being is that one of my bridesmaids suggested as I have my two sisters (13 and 15 years old) and two friends (who are different sizes) it would be better for everyone to have different dresses and she had a seamstress who would be able to do the dresses provided we buy the material. It is now almost December and my friend hasn't helped with getting the material (she knew a reasonably priced shop) and we haven't seen the seamstress. I am now at a point where I am going to have to buy my sisters dresses for fear that everything will be even more last minute than it already is.

I wanted to know if you could give me some ideas/help for shops in London or surrounding areas such as Kent or Surrey or even good online stores. I need a dress that is not too childish and not too adult for my sisters and due to budget I can't afford to pay more than £100 per dress.

    Thanks

    Hi hun,

I have posted a link on my wall for you. This is where I'm getting my dresses from, the more you buy of the same dress the more discount you get, you can get different sizes and still get the discount.

I have my 27 year old friend and my 13 and 14 year old nieces as my bridesmaids and actually got their dresses in a highstreet shop and paid £65 per dress (Qu1z). My friend pointed them out to me because it was the exact colour I was looking and the 2 younger girls loved them and felt really comfortable. All I'm doing for the youngest one is getting the straps taken up so that the V is higher up on her because she's a wee shortie.

I am actually having a bit of difficulty choosing the youngest bridesmaid a dress & her flowergirl sister a dress too.( silver wedding)

As my daughter (MOH) niece & daughter in law are the senior bridesmaids, my granddaughters Leah age 12 years will be the junior & Ellie 9 years will be flower girl.
However Leah is much smaller than her wee sister Ellie but would never accept wearing the same dress as her wee sister because in her words Ellie is just a baby lol.

I do want Leah & Ellie to wear a age appropriate dress but how on earth will I tie this in with the senior bridesmaids dresses.

Because they are different roles, I would just link the colours to senior bridesmaids and not worry too much about it

We have different styles of dresses albeit in a similar colour.

Looking forward to becoming the 3rd and last Mrs McLauchlan
