Hi Everyone. I have a Maggie Sottero Geneva dress with a mocha sash. I originally wanted to have emerald green bridesmaid dresses but I'm worried now the colour will not go with the colour in my dress. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :)

Beautiful dress. I think a green colour will go no problems - what are your other accessories going to be like i.e flowers and venue decorations? Did you have anything in mind for those?

Thanks ladies. I'm doing a birdcage theme and wanted to keep flowers etc meadowy, if that makes sense. I've got birdcages to go on the tables to have fresh flowers in them.
Just as well we're not getting married for 2 years, its getting expensive lol

Thanks again for your replies :)

We want bird cages on our tables as well, with candles inside and flower garlands wrapped around them/inside them :) we are going for a vintage-y kind of theme. We have 2 years as well - would never be able to pay for everything if it was less than that!! xx

MrsP2Bx - we thought about using battery operated tea lights in our cages, just for safety mainly.

We're the same we needed the time to save for it.

Yeah we would go for battery operated as well, wouldn't want to send the whole place down in flames haha.

We know what we want and we're not really prepared to compromise on it - giving ourselves 2 years to spread the cost means we will be able to have our day how we want and (hopefully) not need to cut back on anything. It is hard though because I want to do so much NOW but have to reign myself in haha xx

I know how you feel. I just want to get on with doing everything but then have to remind myself it's quite a while off yet lol

Too far away! :( I think back over what has happened over the last 2 years and it scares me how much has happened - hoping for a quiet and stress-free life in the run up to the wedding.. !! xx
