So I have been having a drama over the last few days following the wonderful news one of my bridesmaids (mummy of our FG) is pregnant with baby number 2! She is due 3 weeks after the wedding!
She didn't want to admit to me she wanted to step down as BM, and I didn't want to hurt her feelings by demoting her. So I asked her to be a witness instead and she was relieved, so now everybody's happy :)

I can't send the dress back as it's currently being made, and there's nobody I want to ask to replace her so I will have a dress to sell, but I'm just happy it's all sorted now :D

I'm glad it's all worked out though, at least she has something to do still. Shame about the dress but at least you could sell it as a new dress. Or is it a kind of dress that she would be able to wear afterwards? Maybe she could contribute towards it if so and buy it from you.

Sounds like a weight has been lifted for both of you.

I'm glad it's happened nicely and you've both come to the decision together. Lovely to see you aren't worried about the dress as well.

That's really nice she can still be involved without the pressure. The dress can be sold as new which is great x
