Regarding the father, daughter dance I think you pick a specific song and they announce its going to be your dance with your dad. I don't have that problem as my dad wont be there he hasn't had anything to do with my life since I was little xx

You can whatever suits! When I was about 14/15 at a wedding I saw a father daughter dance and then he passed her over for the couples first dance which I really liked and I absolutely adoreded the song the father and daughter song they danced to.
Me and mom went to look at a motb outfit store yesterday to see styles, colours ect and she's only gone and got her outfit! She does look stunning in it though ! My dad was like "you're sorted before the bride" haha. Times going so quickly also can't believe it's nearly April?! Soon be 2016! Arggghhh x

Aww it's lovely that you are taking your Gran with you Sarah. When I went to choose my dress I was gutted that my Gran wasn't around to come with us as she had passed away the September before. I want to get one of those little frames for my bouquet to put a picture of her in to remember her by xx

I think shes pretty excited about all things wedding so id be honoured to have her there, she loves the dress I fell in love with last week.
I went to shop last night to try on dresses and it was a waste of time, I didn't know they only stocked sample dresses and second hand dresses they have a collection of dresses people want to sell in there shop and take a cut of the sale, they had nothing I would of even liked to try on from the sample collection so I passed! roll on Saturday for my next app with new collection dresses to lol xx

H2b is more nervous about first dance than me! lol he hates dancing ive told him we will be practicing, we cant decide on a song yet though, think it will just one day pop into our heads and we will know that's the song its meant to be.
Another surprise for me, I tracked down my half brother, he lives in England with his mum, my sis and I met him years ago when he was a baby and weve never seen him since, my dad has had nothing to do with me or my sis since we were young then that trip to meet him and our brother was the last time we seen him 12 years ago to be exact.
So I don't know what came over me but I thought my goodness he will be 14 now and what teenager doesn't have the book of face, so I typed in his name and he popped up! I was nervous toad him as didn't know what reaction I would get or if he even knew about me or if he would want anything to do with us! So i sent him a message explained who I was and thankfully he was over the moon he always knew about us and never thought he would meet us.
So we have been speaking for just over a month now, he also has nothing to do with my dad, his mum couldn't be happier we are talking and ive invited them both to the wedding! I honestly feel so emotional and excited at the thought and were planning a trip for them to meet us in the summer! xxx

We are not really doing any dances either my H2B isn't really into the whole group gathering thing and only reason we're having a party after is because he knows I want to celebrate with everyone he'd be quite happy to go off on our own with the kids after the ceremony lol

We just had a mixed reaction from the kids, they've been told previously that after the wedding we'd be changing to daddy's surname (they are currently under mine) but because H2B wanted to change his surname we hadn't told them what it was, well his deedpoll is through now and my oldest was fine with it, my youngest is 2 so hasn't a clue whats going on but my 4 year old (5 in May) burst into saying she didn't want to be Douglas she wants to keep her current name wasn't expecting that reaction think its because she doesn't understand so going to slowly get her used to it other the coming months xx

Hi all, I am getting married on 26th November 2016, so far we have booked the venue and paid deposit, booked the registrar for 3.30pm and paid deposit. the registrar costs £450 atm but I have two price increases to go through so hopefully it wont rise too much! need to find entertainment and photographer next, think I may have found the dress I want but need to find somewhere that stocks it so can try it on and see what its like, we are going to hire suits online, I know I want my bridesmaids to wear burgundy/deep red but haven't decided fully on which dresses they will have yet x

sounds like your planning is going well, our registrar said the price increases will be small about 6/7 pounds each increase so hopefully yours will be the same, ours at the mo is 299 so the estimated it to be about 312 by time we get married xx
