You could donate some of yours to me Flossie haha .. The bridal shop says I'll have to have chicken fillets built into my dress and that's only from trying it on .. No fittings or anything yet and they're already saying it needs fillets .. Or rather full chickens the way I'm built lol

Believe me, if I could I would! They're too big and get in the way of everything. I can't wear nice pretty delicate things because my boobs are too big. I have to get tops/dresses a few sizes bigger just to make sure my boobs fit in! xx

I have the same problem Flossie and I can't wear the bra on the day either as the back is lace up and quite low. I was worried about how it would work but getting 'cups' sewn into the dress sounds like a good idea.

Mine is a Venus Bridal and its VW8679. I don't really like the pictures of it online and it makes me start doubting my choice but I know that when I was in the dress, it felt amazing and I didn't want to take it off so I know I am happy with my choice. I just have to remind myself how I felt in it x x

Leanne definitely go with an open mind when you try on dresses, the shop assistants normally recommend for you to try on a variety of styles even if you have a really good idea of what you think you want anyway. I never thought I'd get that "this is the dress" moment as nothing I tried on after several shop visits was giving me that wow factor... until Saturday just gone, when I put my dress on I knew straight away! It's weird to describe!

Thanks Lindsey, I don't think the picture does it justice really as it's so sparkly and lovely and whenever I look at it I don't feel 'wow' about it but I know I did when I was in it and that's the main thing. Your dress is beautiful too Lindsey.

Got my first bridesmaid present delivered today :)
A personalised champagne flute in a silk lined gift box.
The glass is lovely but the box is slightly damaged I can't tell if it's had something splashed on it or whether there is a bit of the box ripped off gr. great quality control by the company considering they charge £5 for the gift box!
I've emailed them and they said they're sending a new box out for it which is ok so ordered one for my other two bridesmaids as well now

There's so much to read and everyone's weddings sound amazing. I feel I know a little bit about some of you. It's so exciting.
I'm getting married in Pathos at a hotel called Aliathon Holiday Villiage. It's only going to be a small wedding around 25 of us, but that's how I wanted it. Having a wedding in the UK isn't my thing. H2B has been married before and did the whole white wedding with big posh cars, I've not been married before and were both nearly 40 so just fancied something small and intimate. Having said that I'm having a typical wedding dress if I can find one!!

Danielle I am looking here in Manchester as I thought it would be easier for alterations etc, though I can't have my step mum coming back and forth so hoping I find it that day or might have to look into looking at home. Its funny how I still called NI my home even though i've lived in England for years. My LO is 2 and a half.

Yeah they were really quick to say they'll just send a new one so not that fussed and luckily I've ordered well in advance to give them chance to rectify it. Just a shame they don't value quality when they send things out .. If it was my company id be mortified if I sent out a product that is meant for a memorable gift in that condition

It is indeed future Mrs b :)! One place does them for 11.95 but that only let's you have limited letters for the date or the one I got was £12.95 with 20 letters for the date then an extra £5 for the gift box

I'm slightly tight also after dresses, shoes hair make up (standard and expected if I'm asking them to be bridesmaid) but I've brought bracelets, personalised hangers and tshirts so I'm reluctant to spend more .. Does that make me bad hehe
