I was looking for some bits for my fiancé and came across some bride hoodie and shorts, they were however very expensive.

I thought they would be cute for the morning of the wedding... possibly times before as well, such as when we have our girly nights before the wedding having our nails done ect.

Any idea's where I can pick them up cheaper though

Or would I be better off paying for plain one's and getting iron on transfers?

Maybe get some plain ones and get transfers on the bay, or just look on the bay for them. Also check local establishments, we have a company which prints stuff, check to see if you have one nearby who could do it cheaper

    The bay is quite expensive.

But I have seen the iron on bits, so could just buy plain one's.

Will also check the places you can get things printed from, but I remember thinking they were expensive when I had to buy from there before.

Yeah they can be, you'll probs be cheaper doing cheap hoodies and iron them on yourself.

Yeah think I'll do that, might wait until after the hen to order anything... just in case they get anything for then that we may be able to use as well. Just need to decide on colours as well

What about vest tops Donna? Especially with it being summer, you cant get much cheaper then a basic vest top :)

I like the idea of hoodies and shorts as if it's a cooler day (considering it will be in the morning and my mums house is usually cold lol) we won't be too cold... and also after having our hair done if I buy the zip hoodies we don't have to pull them over our heads ;)

Can pick up plain hoodies for between £5 and £10. I wouldn't get everyone shorts either, they can wear them with jeans or whatever they want.... in fact, I might not even buy shorts myself and just see what I have that I could wear... like denim shorts.

That sound like a great idea! More useful than dressing gowns. I made my OH a batman outfit and bought an iron on for the symbol on the chest. Was so easy!

Just had a nose and can't see any.

I might not bother to be fair... just an idea.

I def want to make sure I'm wearing a shirt or hoodie on the day-I've made the mistake of wearing T-Shirts and then having my hair done and wanting to get changed. Nightmare!!

But then I do really like the hoodies... and could possibly use them after as well for just lounging about the house.

Yeah. Search iron on transfers. There's a few customisable ones. You'll have to have a look :)

I thought about this then changed my mind to embroidered waffle robes, so not something we will be going out and about in :)

I like the idea of shorts and hoodies, something cosy you can sit around in whilst getting ready and then wear again after the wedding! I would have a look for iron on transfers though as I have seen these on the bay for far cheaper than the already made ones x

Have you had a look on 3tsy? I was looking a little while ago and there seems to be lots of different hoodies/t shirts/ robes for the bridal party. Prices and quality seem to vary but it might be worth a look?

Yeah, think I'm def sold on buying plain one's and then using the iron on transfers.

I love the idea of the hoodies and shorts as they look comfy for getting ready in and we might use them again.
