So I was thinking of doing a boudoir shoot for my other half. I'm not overly confident with my body but want something personal for him and they aren't going to be too much on show lol. I'm looking at doing it when I have my hair and make up done so 6 weeks before wedding. And was thinking of doing an album for him but not sure if I should give it too him the morning of the wedding or the evening? When's the best time x

I think it's a lovely idea and if I had the money I'd do one for OH.....
I'm not confident with my body but OH would appreciate it. I would give it him on the morning of the wedding.... Tease him a little

I had a boudoir shoot done. I'm not that confident about my body either, but the photographer made me feel at ease and I enjoyed it. I gave hubby the photos the night before as I knew that the house would be manic on morning of the wedding and he wouldn't get chance to look at them properly lol xx

Will have a look at yours :) the photographer is the one doing our wedding so hoping it will be quite comfortable. But need to research lots of photos so I know what I want. Thenewmrsbarrett did you do an album for him? I'm thinking of getting one made online but not sure. Didn't think of giving it to him night before but that's a good idea I think that :)

I got a framed a4 print (which I won) and then got 10 prints done. I think getting a photobook done online is a great idea! Xx

I didn't get any printed, just on a disc. I sent him one at a time by text every week leading up to the wedding, (my sisters idea and it certainly kept his interest during the manic run up to the wedding), then one in veil the night before.
I was really nervous too as I'm not body confident, but I was impressed with the pictures (some in my profile if you want to see). I'd advise everyone to get them done, he loved them!

Emmilou...they don't have to be expensive, you can get them through the voucher sites, just don't buy too many of the pictures, I paid £6.99 for the shoot and 2 pictures, but I bought more which pushed the price up.

Defo look into it, mine is £50 for the photo shoot and get all photos on a disc so defo worth looking into :) I'm excited but nervous, I had a shoot done before I had my first child so was very slim and oh said he wanted a photo on the bedroom so that's what I did although I'm very insecure about my body I love it. And am glad I did it x

I took my wedding underwear, a matching black bra and knickers set, hubby's shirt. The only thing I bought specially was the corset which I got online for £15. My underwear isn't what I'd call 'sexy' sort, just nice lacy stuff lol xx

Maybe just some knickers as similar as poss to your bra? My advice is just see if you can find something pretty that you like, not necessarily 'sexy', something you will feel nice in xx

I used stuff I already had (the black corset bra and knickers) and bought some bits cheaply from the bay and in sales (the baby doll things and Lacey dressing gown) think I paid about £30 for the lot. The veil was a nasty cheap thing from China, about 99p from the bay, but looked good in the pics!
My sister does photography and told me to get the lace dressing gown thingy as it'll make playful shots. She also told me to look up boudoir on p1nt3r3st to get some ideas of poses and photos I wanted.
The black corset bra I've also got in white and wore on my wedding day!

Mine included make over, and I had the photos on disk the same day. The 2 prints came about a week later. Extra pictures did work out expensive though, they were trying to sell them all for £700 (!!!) but I haggled and got 25 for £150. They make their money by selling you extra prints so they will "hard sell".
They also spammed my email with "buy the rest for a discount" until I blocked the address, but it was worth it.
If you can't afford to buy them all, be ruthless, stick to your guns and choose only those you want/can realistcally have.

Lol Velcro, I know what you mean! Mind you, I'd had a makeover shoot done before several years ago so was prepared for the ton of make up! I was expecting them to get me to remove the make up before I left the studio (as had happened before) but they didn't so I had to go and buy some make up wipes as soon as mine was over as hubby had no clue where I was, he thought I'd gone shopping with my friend lol xx
