Just got back from my boudoir photo shoot. Hard sell as expected, and for once haggling worked! I got 29 photos for the price of 4...I almost walked out with just the two free ones. And they stopped me and said go on then.

I felt so stiff and unnatural but there's a few shots I was happy with.
It was actually fun.

Worth it!

I got the deal from a well known voucher with a w site, for £6.99.

Includes the makeover and 2 photos.

I paid £105 for the rest, even though I went in there adamant not to spend too much money.

Not sure what to do with the rest of the pics, might send him one on his birthday as a surprise (not the veil ones though).
He's really suspicious of where I went today, and why my face is still done up like a clown!
I told him I had a hair and make up trial, and he said "hope you're not wearing your make up like that on the day, it's a bit heavy!"

Do it! If you don't like them, don't buy them.
The group on and voucher with w both have offers on, you get a picture or two included, but the others work out expensive.

It was a female photographer too so I didn't feel uncomfortable, just awkward, the poses are quite difficult to master.

Whatever your figure, it's the one your oh's love, doing the shoot is a confidence booster as I never imagined they could make me look at myself and think "wow is that me?"

I've always been thin and often made fun of because people say I'm too thin.
I'm sure that is just as hurtful as being made fun of if someone calls you fat. Truth is we are who we are and all of us here are getting married, which means we are all beautiful with stunning figures no matter what shape or size x

I went for a meeting with a lovely female photographer who is now going to be doing a boudoir shoot with me at the end of August as she made me feel really relaxed. Thanks for putting this post up Leasa otherwise I don't think I would have ever gone ahead with it xxx

Leasa, she told me not to smile because I looked better when I didn't hahahaha, not sure how to take that. Wish Id thought of taking something weddingy all I took was my wedding shoes lol!

Yes Teresa,
you have to take your own clothes. They say 3 or 4 changes of clothes. The veil was a really cheap nasty one from the bay (china), but it worked well for the pics. I did go out and buy some of the outfits especially for the pictures. But it was worth it.

As Velcro said, most photo studios/photographers will do boudoir shoots, and there are often deals on like the one I got.
Google local places/wowcher/groupon etc
