    Hi
Bit of a rant sorry! Future sil got married in March they have just bought a new house we don't get married until April and she has just announced she is pregnant!! My h2b is really upset as all through his childhood he feels she is always trying to get one better than him. Plus originally we had only close family children coming and now we are going to have a 4 month old possibly screaming all through the wedding and that's if she comes at all!! Am really upset cos now people will be like how's the pregnancy not how's the wedding plans? I know I sound a bit bridezilla sorry xx

I know this is probably not what you are going to want to hear but...your wedding isn't for 11 months...you or your h2b can't expect people to put their lives on hold for 11 months until the wedding. Also you can't exactly stop nature from taking its course, some people take a long while to get pregnant and its not really fair to expect people not to can't try for a baby for another year when it might take them that long for it to happen...I think your h2b is being a little bit overly sensitive - im sure she is having a baby because she wants one and not just to spite him.
I know it is easy to get caught up on the wedding but really, unless you have super enthusiastic friends/family (which most people don't) then the wedding is only really the most exciting thing in the world for you and your h2b. Just enjoy the planning process with your future husband, there are plenty of ladies on here who are interested and helpful and can share planning tips etc with you. :)

I suppose that the fact that she's only just got married herself will help her appreciate how important it is not to have a screaming baby ruining the ceremony, and will have her husband ready to take baby out if necessary.
Other than that, you've got a new niece/nephew to look forward to.

I agree with the above posts. Me and my oh want to try for another baby a soon as the weddings done. I would be a bit miffed if one of my friends or family got mad at me for wanting another baby/getting pregnant because there planning there wedding.

Like Amy's said due to her recently having her wedding she's most likely to be understanding. And from what I know of baby's Bryant 0-6 months they generally feed then sleep.

Try not to look at what other people do, and enjoy doing what you are doing. I wouldn't for one minute say to my fiance, lets not try for a baby yet incase it upsets your brother/sister. What other people do is up to them.

I agree with the other ladies. I get married in a year and am then a bridesmaid a year later for a close friend. We've been ttc for 3 years and have just started fertility treatment. If it hasn't happened by the time I'm her bridesmaid I asked her if she'd like us to stop to avoid being huge on her day and causing stress for her with dresses etc. she told me not to be stupid and that it didn't matter and that having our family was the most important thing. Not all pregnancies are planned either, none of my friends have planned their pregnancies xx

I agree with the above. I genuinly believe they don't mean anything spiteful but I can also understand it from his perspective. My sister is very much the same. However the hurdles of getting married is that people do also have their own lives and this can cause the odd bump on the road when coordinating everything. For eg, by MOH has just had her second baby who will be 20 months when my wedding day arrives. We all want everything to go smoothly on our wedding days but sometimes... those bumps that happen on the day might be something you look back at and think "You remember when *** did *** during ***... haha LOL"

To be honest by the time the wedding comes everyone will be a bit bored with the baby as that will be all she will be talking about and your wedding will be the hot chatter. ;)

Yeah at least she's not due exactly around your wedding where ppl would be all 'I wanna see the new baby' and plus she's gonna be very busy that day with feeds etc ... I wouldn't actually want to be in HER position tbh...I know how hard it is taking my 3 to weddings (which I don't do anymore,I get a sitter) so she's gonna be full on x

My Sister has just announced she's pregnant again, and I must admit I was a little bit miffed when I heard the news, and I had a feeling that something like that would happen! I had a good think about though, and a chat to H2B and figured that it won't be so bad and we can cope with having a 4 month old baby at our wedding. And she had the same problem at her wedding as her best friend had just had a baby. I don't think you'll have time to be worrying what she's up to, and she certainly won't with 3 kids in tow
