Wedding Forum - Benjamin Adams Shoes !!...

Oh my, i have just spent £299 on a pair of Benjamin Adams shoes today. They are called Charlize - pics on my profile. H2b was fine about me getting them but i had a bit of a panic after as thought 'oh my god i have just spent £300 on shoes!!!!!' I love them but still feel guilty about the splurge, having said that my dress was £660 so the dress and shoes are still under £1000 and i had originally thought my dress would cost more. Which were the ones you liked? xx

wow that is a lot of money. the most i have spent on shoes is £130!

i have 2 pairs of wedding shoes. both are faith shoes. one are court ivory peeptoe and the other are silver sandals. they were in the sale when i bought them and got them both for under £60 if i remember rightly!

should have been £70 and £90 each! xx

They are gorgeous as well and if you have the money then why not. We had to limit our budget to very low amounts as we are skint but I know if we had more money I would have got something like that, I had to bling my own shoes and I love them but I think I would have loved yours more lol

It's the Charlize ones that I want, The only way i'll get round it i think, is to sell a pair of my Jimmy Choo's or Karen Millen shoes, that way I wont have to spend too much more, they are gorgeous though !

I love them and, if you can afford them, I think you should go for it.

I wanted strassed Christian Louboutins at £2k but instead got a gorgeous pair of shoes from UpperStreet and I'm in the process of covering them with Swarovski crystals myself. Shoes (£235 + £9 [P&P] - £100 [discount voucher] = £144) and crystals (£190 so far, but I'm going to have to buy more of one colour at around £60) which will be about £400 or so altogether (and would have been more if it weren't for the discount voucher).

So all in all £300 for Benjamin Adams' Swarovski crystal encrusted shoes isn't that bad!

Gina are having an instore sale today (22nd). Many styles half price. Bargain!

I adore Gina shoes, in fact I looove all shoes lol !!

Thanks Toria and SpecialSundae you've made me feel much better about spending that amount. It's not like we so it every day. Might go pop them on now and do the hoovering in them!! X

Good luck Nik. My h2b did have a condition that they would have to be worn in the bedroom! Lol!! Just showed them to our daughters, the eldest who is 3 just said "wow, they are sparkly like the stars" bless her, she thinks I'm turning into a princess!! X

I'd originally asked Grant to propose with a pair of beautiful shoes, but he was out of work when he proposed so couldn't afford to. I'm hoping that a beautiful pair of shoes are part of my wedding gift from him.

Mine were about £15 lol, but I'm customising them myself by putting an image on them to match my tattoo theme

Mine cost me £65 the are Kurt geiger. Benjamin adams do some amazing shoes but that is the same as paid for my dress so wouldnt spend it on shoes although i do need to find a 2nd pair as not sure i will be walking in them from 11.30 in the morning and last all day
