I was hoping someone can help me! I'm looking for a rustic type barn venue in the northwest. Specifically one with wooden beams. I have found plenty but most of them want me to use their own selected catering suppliers, which makes it difficult for me as I have a selective eating disorder. I can currently only eat simple meals or a roast dinner type meal. So I need a venue that I can use my own suppliers so I don't have to stress over food in the big day! Any suggestions are welcome, along with suggestions of caterers who could do a traditional carvery for a wedding. I am from the Lancashire area but can go as far as Cumbria or Manchester area too! Please help

Can the caterers not adapt their menus to suit? I am sure they'd be able to provide something suitable? x

Unfortunately no, I have to pick from their menus and the carvery type dinner is in none of their menus, I tried asking if they would do a roast turkey dinner and one venues caterers agreed but they wanted to charge me something extortionate to create my own menu which I can't afford. So it would be just easier if I can pick my own from the start x

Wow, I'm surprised none of them offer a carvery style meal. I would have thought that was the most popular for weddings!

I would of thought so too! The closest I could find was a hog roast carvery but I don't like hog roast lol. It's making my wedding venue shopping really difficult x
Hi Leanne, I'm in Lancashire. I've posted a couple of names on your wall. You may have already thought of them though lol xx

Lol sorry, didn't mean to confuse you! If you click on the My Wedding tab at the top of the page it should take you to your details, In the middle it says "Welcome to UkBride", under that there will probably be quite a few adverts etc, that's what I'm referring to as your wall. You may have to scroll down through a few ads to get to my post lol. Hope that helps xx
