Sounds like you've got it all under control! I still need to book an appointment for my nails, get a gift for the flower girl and make up a little activity pack for her (stickers and a colouring book should do it!), get sweets for our favours and write out the tags, email the venue with the meal choices and make a little table plan for the venue (there's only 14 of us in the day!).

I was obsessed with the weather in the run up, Catherine will confirm this ;) I just wanted no rain for 1 hour for the drinks reception so the quartet could come outside. I got bright sunshine and 25 degree heat all day! So don't worry too much about it, the weather has a habit of behaving just at the right time :)

Ha! Yeah I know I can't do anything about it! But I'd like to be mentally prepared! Yeah there loads of picture shots and I don't think it would rain all day to get no pics outside its not the pictures so much as the children being able to play about outside during pictures etc after the ceremony rather than getting bored in the bar etc

I am off on my hen do this weekend, I had the info through on Monday. We are going to Southampton, there will be spa treatments and dancing involved!
Not much left to do now, just waiting for a few things to arrive, need to print order of services and do the table names and place names. Everything else is sorted (I think!)

Had my hen on Saturday. It was great, had a lovely night.
Just doing last minute bits now, had my hair cut on Sat, booked in for my nails tomorrow after work. Just filled jars with sweets for our favours, just need to write the name tags. Last day in work tomorrow - I hope it's a busy day to keep me distracted!

It's almost 2 weeks since we got married! We are itching to get our photos and wedding video back so we can't wait for that :D I still don't feel married though which I think is because the legal bit went by so quickly and in a blur it doesn't feel real.. What had changed for us is the relationship with my parents and sister which previously was very fraught but now, we are getting on so well and barely argued since the wedding which is the first time ever really :) have wonderful days the rest of you! Xx

we had rain all day but didn't care in the end just kept smiling and meant I wasn't red hot in the pics lol, my wedding seems like it was months ago now and yes I would do it all again not one thing was out of place, it was a great day just waiting on photographer pics now......oh and I broke tradition and was 15 mins early to church :) I said I wouldn't keep my partner waiting all tho wish I had used that time for pics of me on my own

We were very lucky with the wather for our day, it was geogous! I do feel blesed it was so nice :). We quite lucky with the photos as although we haven't seen all our professional photoes she posted a few on her fb page (with our permission) so we got to see a sneaky peak of the photos just a few days after our wedding. A family friend videod the day too, I didnt even relies any one had a video camera lol! So that was a very nice surprise :). I still can't get use to my last name being different though! I keep on forgetting and having to think when I get asked my name I am looking for a new job so writing it also at the mo and I kerp having to really think when typing my name lol. Also it's hard to go from a Miss to a Mrs lol! X

My problem was yesterday when I changed all my details at the bank and I was asked to sign in my new name.... I absolutely froze because rather than just practicing at home on paper, it actually mattered for the first time and I had to get it right!!!
Our videographer emailed this evening as she's posting our discs tomorrow so they should arrive by Monday at the latest :D Our photos will be a little longer as unfortunately our tog's father went into hospital just days after our wedding so she's got a little behind but has said within a couple of weeks anyway so not long! x

Well, it is my turn in just 2 days now and the nerves are starting to kick in. Today I have my final hair trial, eyebrow appointment, rehearsal at the church and I pick up my dress! Tomorrow I have to take the cat to the cattery, drop stuff to the venue and get my nails done H2b is printing the last order of services today and we are just finishing off the last bits for the tables.
Still reasonable calm, the weather forecast has changed every single day this week. At the moment it says heavy rain but yesterday it was saying no rain! Can't do anything about it tho so not panicking.

I think because we have been together for 10 years in November and living together for 8 and a half and obviously have our son too who's 6 in couple of weeks.
I cant wait to have my bank account back again but it will be a while as we are moving house again next month.

I've not changed my name on anything yet! Need to get that done what did everyone start with dint know whether to do bank account or driving licence first! Husband got cross today as I said my maiden name as my name in an order at the school shop! Mrs! :/

Oops, it does take getting used to though! I've accidentally called my wife 'girlfriend' a few times lol. We are getting there though!
I started with the bank, employer, doctors etc. and then I sent off my docs a couple of days ago for my driving licence but as long as it's done within a month or so, don't stress :) Got to get the passport done though as we are going away at Christmas with my family so that's probably going to be next month when I get paid!

I can't do driving license yet because it needs my passport, and we are going on honeymoon in under 5 weeks and they advise not to send it off if you are due to travel soon incase it's not back in time. Which is annoying :(

I started with my employer (Before we got married I told him when to change my name) then after the wedding the first place was the doctors/dentist and then the bank once I had the marriage certificate, Passport got sent off yesterday as hubby booked honeymoon in my married name (We go away in November) Alot of things i will leave until we are in the new house and change name and address at the same time instead if phoning up twice within the month.
Why does the DVLA need your passport and not just marriage certificate?

I've just done mine today, for any other change it needs your passport for name change its passport OR the original marriage certificate sent off, also need to provide a s.a.e with recorded/special delivery postage paid for if you want your documents back tracked

Yeah I double checked in the info booklet with it as I won't be changing my passport yet as I've years left on it so my passport doesn't prove anything. The marriage certificate is an acceptable proof as long as it proves a logical name change if it's anything other than just changing to your husbands surname and needs deed poll proof then that's different
