I am hoping that once I move with H2B at the end of the month I wont put on weight as my dress just only fits me now... I will have to make sure I use the gym at the camp site where I have a caravan.

I was in the church on Tuesday, as H2B goes to a communion service there every Tuesday evening, so we worked out the pacing of the walk in and out. I've decided to go in the west door instead of the south door that the church normally uses, as it makes the timing easier and cuts out a bit of walking along the back. We also counted the pews and photographed the end, and even thought to measure them, as my aunt is doing pew ends.

OMG I can't believe that in just over a week I'll be married! Eek!
We're nearly there now thank god! OH has picked up his suit, his groomsmen are all kitted out, all the gifts have now been bought, bar one for my parents (hoping to get them opera tickets)... As it stands at the moment I just need to finish making the menu cards and table plans (yup, plural; we have a plan A and plan B in case certain people decide not to show), wrap the gifts and write the cards, and start getting stuff to the venue.
Me, my dad, the MOH and best man are meeting with the venue co-ordinator at our ceremony venue on Monday to run through things, and we're dropping a few bits off to the reception venue. Then Tuesday I'm dropping my ring in for a polish and OHs for yet another resize (long story!)
Unfortunately the lady making out cake cancelled on Friday; it's a terribly sad story, she's been diagnosed with cancer. She can't be much older than 40, and has two young children. I cried after speaking to her husband, and she sent us the brooches and ribbons she'd bought (which she didn't even charge for) along with a thank you card, and I cried again :-s We have 2 potential cakes lined up, so that should be sorted by Saturday. It really put things in perspective though TBH and made me realise how easy it is to get carried away and lose sight of the bigger picture.

One month! I need to pay the flower lady, and H2B needs to pay the reception venue, both in the next couple of days. Then I think it's just the cake, and flowers for the windowsills and pew ends which I need to talk to my mum about.

4 days to go!! Wrapped all the presents today and organised the decorations into seperate bags for each table. I think I can finally say I have nothing left to do other than wait for the day to arrive and keep hoping for no rain! I hate the forcast at the moment!

Congratulations Clairenina. Getting to that disconcerting point where there isn't a lot that I can do. I just need to see whether it will be plan B or plan C that we use for the cake (plan A is looking increasingly unlikely). Most payments are made, we just need to hear back from the cathedral about a banns certificate and paying for that, and we need to pay the DJ. The videographer has said we can pay him when we pick up the DVDs. He's a friend of H2B so he's fairly relaxed about it, he knows he can trust us. Centre pieces will be put together in the last week, as they will take up quite a bit of space. A lot of the moving of my things to H2B's house is done, there's just odds and ends and the last minute things to do. There are a couple of extra favours to make as we have had some changes to the guest list, and because the favours have names on we can't just pass them on to the people filling in the gaps. We were quite surprised when we found ourselves having to bump up from the evening do list to get the minimum number of 100 adults. One couple had to pull out because her father is in a home and isn't happy, so they're bringing him to live with them, which means a weekend away so soon isn't doable. Another couple pulled out because they split up. We didn't expect him to come down on his own, he was more of a plus one. We thought she might, but with a small child she found it too difficult, as the child wouldn't cope with being left with someone else, and the maternal grandmother who we thought might come down to help couldn't cope with the journey. We thought we'd been pretty cautious when we signed the contract for 100 adults, but you never know what's going to happen.

Congratulations Claienina! Glad you had a lovely day! Elinor we had similar re guests three of ours dropped out two days after paying for them! We don't have anyone from the evening we can bump up either so we have now paid for three meals that won't get eaten, not happy! I'm trying to sort out all the little bits now like decorations and place names and trying to finalise everything with the vicar, on a plus side, he has just told us we can have the bells rung for free which has cheered me up! Lol xxx

No none of the ones we would have liked there are able to get the time off this close to the date, and other evening guests are friends of parents who we don't really want there all day, we already have 122 day guests so it isn't like there are many more people to add lol xxx

I have just got back from my honeymoon in the Maldives - it was awesome! So was my wedding day - so so happy! Just in the process of changing my name on everything now so not so fun then back to work on Monday new school year! Basically... back to reality! Just back from honeymoon myself. We've been on a cruise in the eastern Mediterranean. I won't be getting back on the scales for at least a couple of weeks, as I have eaten so much (it was all inclusive).
