if i was having a spring wedding i would have had daffodils for my bouget my favourite flower, i think you should go for pale colours like yellows and light blues or new leaf greens x

Yes things that are seasonal are much cheaper and really topical. Prepare for showers...

I'm having a spring wedding :) my colours are apple green & lemon! Go with seasonal flowers as they are cheaper. Good thing is there are alot of bank hols so if your on a budget you could go for a sunday wedding (usuallu cheaper) as most people have the mondays off!
Favours you could go for are personalised packets of seeds, easter eggs, Marie Curie daffodils if you were to choose a charity favour etc.

Red sounds like a lovely colour to have. At first i was thinking about pale colours but i think i like the idea of having brighter, bolder colours as a theme. What are both your dresses like?

Hi, i get married in 18 days!!!!! my spring wedding is a black/ivory theme. my dress is Zeta by Romantica, my maids are debut prom dresses, flower theme is ivory silk roses with thistles, table decs are the same. i did originally think that black was quite heavy for spring but as everything else is simple and clean, it looks very classical!! hope you have a great day when it comes, there are some gorgeous ideas on this page!!

We're getting married April 17th next year, but not really going with a spring theme as such - our theme has come more out of the venue really - I ordered my dress yesterday (woo hoo!!!!) and that was definitly bought with the venue in mind. Our bridesmaids are a dark shade of royal blue - so I guess it just depends what you want. I just like the idea of spring as it traditionally means "new life" etc and spring always feels nice after coming out of winter (especially this year after the rubbish winter we had!)

Our theme is Black and Ivory and lots of seaside stuff as well! Our first holiday together was to Cornwall so we wanted to have that as our theme. My dress is Ivory with Black detailing on and we're having shells and pebbles in Jam Jars with tealight candles for our centrepieces. Hopefully it will be nice and cosy/romantic.

We had loads of trouble deciding on what shade of blue - originally I wanted a kingfisher blue, but then decided that may make the BMs look washed out (unelss they went for serious fake tanning!) then my H2B preferred paler shades like baby blue, which I really couldn't see the BMs in either - so we settled on the dark royal blue. Its not until you really start looking that you realise how many bloomin' shades of blue there are!!!!

thanks little miss red head :D it is sooo cheap as well. It was going to cost us like £2.00 per jar and there are around 10-12 jars on each table so would ass up, but the silliest thing is...Asda sells curry for 5p! H2B LOVES curry, so eat curry...jar in the dishwasher and hey presto. Then off to B+Q, couple quid for a bag of pebbles! It has worked out like maybe £1 per table.
