I am a new bride to be after I got engaged over 2 months ago after our 5year anniversary, we are hoping to get married abroad with close friends and family and have a reception when we get back, anyone else doing anything similar and have any tips or price ideas for a hotel/beach wedding on a Greek island, love to hear any abroad wedding tips or stories.

Not myself but my boss got married in Sorrento, Italy this year. It was pretty much all sorted through Th0m@s C00k weddings but they organised a restaurant to go to for the meal and then came back to the hotel for their evening reception. The photos are lovely and she said it saved them a lot of money compared to getting married in this country.

My step cousin got married in Greece, in Rhodes. There is a lovely little chapel in Lindos which I have seen whilst holidaying but didn't attend the wedding itself. Am not sure of costs but know that it is much cheaper than most weddings here in the UK, and you get your own wedding planner who takes care of pretty much everything for you! The photos were stunning. They had their wedding breakfast/reception on a rooftop restaurant and it just looked so lovely.

If I was to get married abroad I would definitely choose Greece xx

I am getting married in Gibraltar then a blessing in Spain. I live in Spain but work in the UK, It was easier for us to do it this way and cheaper xx
