    hi

so we are still undecided on a church or the venue, the venue we booked have a beautiful outdoor wedding island which we are swaying more towards, but we have been advised by the venue that a gazebo structure would be recommended not just if the weather is bad but also if its sunny so our guests aren't blinded or getting too hot etc I'm just wondering how much these would be? i know we have to go through a marquee company for this just wondered if anyone else is having one or had one?

    xx

Of you getting married in England, ireland or Wales your venue must have a perminent structure with an civil licence, if it does not already have it, then will not be legal binding.

We looked into an indoor marquee for our village hall venue. This is basically using a marquee lining. We were quoted around £750 by several different companies. I assume a full marquee would be much more expensive!

The price also varies dependant upon size. I have been to weddings that were half set up with tables for the wedding breakfast and they stayed set up for evening guests, the other half was set up with a dance floor and dj booth and was bigger than most indoor venues I have seen! I can't help you with price for that and I am not sure it's what you are looking for anyway.

I think your best bet is to internet search local marquee companies and get individual quotes. When I did this, I found it quite difficult to get the answers I was looking for due to poor customer services in all companies bar one, so it might be an idea to male sure you know exactly what you are looking for first.

our venue has a licence to get married, they do have a permanent fixture down on the wedding island hundreds of people have been married outside there its just its in a open area so our wedding co-ordinator said that if its sunny the guests can get a bit uncomfortable so a cover is advised or if its drizzling! so its a outdoor open sided marquee cover but we would have to rent one I'm just looking at prices before we phone around because some places get a bit pushy or bombard us with junk mail like the last place we enquired for a full marquee xx
