Do you think I should do my favours now or wait till week of wedding? They are cookie mix in a jar... 1 layer flour and bicarb, next light brown sugar, then porridge oats then choc chip cookies (guest adds own egg at home) i want them done and out the way but question is should I because I don't know how long they stay fresh for, I've got 35 to do though :/ x

Up to you really Missweedles. How sealed are the jars? If they are really air tight then I say go for it, get it done. Mine are M&Ms so last a while and I had 76 bags to put together from the bulk bags we ordered also, as I am off this week and next week I want to get the main bulk of things done as this will be my last time off work before our Wedding Day. Also, I have my Hen Do a week on Friday and want to get things pretty much prepped for before then.

Had another dress fitting yesterday. The change that I asked for (zip/buttons to half button/lace up) has now been done and I am very impressed with it.
Dress now needs to be taken in though down both sides - when I lifted my arms up, there were massive gaps at the sides lol!

had my final fitting all is well lost a few more inches whooo now all i need is 3lbs off n iv hit my target but the dress fits perfect anyway thank god. iv done another check list today n im nearly there : ) is anyone else worried we have done all this planning an organizing n ul forget something on the day or is that just me .im one of these that goes to a party n forgets the card n has to go back home to get it lol x

Hey everyone! can I join into? I'm getting married 24th May. Woken up today though and just feel completely stressed about everything, still got to get the champagne for the venue, gifts for both Mums, sort the bridesmaids hair and make up out sort my own hair and make up buy the bridesmaids shoes get the wedding rings, the cake we've got they can't do what we want so got to discuss and change the top of it, were so far behind on everything and now I just feel completely stressed by it all! x

Welcome to the May 2014 gang. You get married the day before me :) I am sure everything will fall into place, I still need to decide on my hair and the bridesmaids hair and get Ushers, best Man and Dads' gifts. we still have 6 weeks to go so there's plenty of time hun. Hello ladies! Thought I would say the hen do was awsome! Stayed in a really nice hotel, had a pj party at the venue who set up a cinema/games room for.us. lots of wine games and chatting! Sat morning we then had a pampering morning so we all had foot spas, massages etc. After a spot of lunch and shopping we then went of for dinner and drinks dressed in the obligatory veil sashes etc. Had a whole heap of fun drinking and dancing! Last man standing at 3am, the mr was proud!

Went really well, I was dressed in a veil with flashing ring and sash! I looked out for you but was a little tipsy and busy dancing! There was a pj party games and films at the hotel on friday, spa morning on sat with a lovely massage. Shopping then meal and dancing on sat. My sisters did a brilliant job I loved every minute! Just over 2 weeks until the big day now!

iv just ordered dave cuff links n underwear that say groom more balloons bubbles for the tables n 2 bubble guns for pictures n my kids can have em after , iv finally booked the limo n 2 pink boxes to fill wi sweets 4 my kids paid for sum of the thank you gifts an ordered 30 more cup cakes . i feel like iv had a busy day today lol x

Day one of countdown (yesterday): steam ironed (scary) bridesmaid dresses, steamed my veil using the shower steam, moved all stuff for venue to living room, packed all bits up and went and bought table water from tescamos and met with caterer and finalised that and paid (that stung a bit lol)
Day two of countdown: ironing table runners and packing for honeymoon and finalised hair appointments

Hellooo... I'm so busy with work and wedding planning I'm finding it difficult!! I go and pick up my dress on Tuesday, and go perfume shopping with my. Mum :) I got h2bs family coming to England a week before the wedding. So I have one less week to get the house completely sorted for them.... Wedding boxes of centrepieces and favours and all sorts all over! Booked my hair appointment for the Tuesday before the wedding to have my roots sorted. Got three weeks of work the. Week before the wedding I have off. Ove of them weeks I'm on nights all week, so that's a whole week I can't do anything. :( All we have to do now, is confirm details with weddings car, finish order of services, hair and make up trial, plan what we are going to do and see in cuba for honeymoon finish putting together favours. And I think that's it.. Oh and completely spring clean the house :( Hope all ur plannings are going well Xx

Very odd today. Had to write my new name on a form today! We went to renew our football season tickets and this time they are putting names on seats so I had to put my name as a 'Mrs' and my new surname! Very odd!
