Hello everyone. I want to make small activity to packs for the children at my wedding but I want to make them age appropriate as a lot of things are no good for a 2 year old and I cant think of anything other than a colouring book. There will be 3 children at my wedding; my niece aged 2, my nephew aged three and my sisters step son will be 10. is he too old for an activity pack or not? could anyone give me any ideas on the different things I could put in please?

I would really appreciate the help
    hope everyone is well
    Thanks

I had the same problem but have 13 children going to our wedding!

Look at t3$c0$ party, I wanted to fill boxes so didnt want anything too big and the party bag fillers are great ideas.

I also bought some small cars for the younger boy children and my little ponies for the girls.

    Good luck finding something

    Soon to be Mrs Martin

I'm also going to do activity packs for the kiddies, I don't think 10 is too old for one at all - my mum made some for the three little girls at her wedding and my 16 year old sister sat with them all night joinging in the colouring and my 23yr old best friend said she wished shed been given one too!!
Things that always go down well are; chocolate/sweeties, colouring/puzzle books (age appropriate), bubbles (surprisingly loved at all ages lol), and then maybe add a specific age appropriate toy/item or two and if youre not sure what to add ask they're parents what sort of things they like :)
    Hope this helps x

Yep what Danielle said; you can download activities from the web as well to print off at home such as wordsearches e.t.c
Maybe you could give them a quiz or something where they have to find things like a wedding shoe?

ooo older kids love a photo hunt!!! give them a disposable camera and a list of things they need to find and photograph :) you can then develop the photos and give them a set (maybe in a little book for them to keep) and keep a set yourself :) xx

    You're very welcome!

We've made an 'I spy' with 2 disposable cameras per table to take a photo of things like groom watching bride from a distance, playing with their ring, best dancer in action, worst dancer, things like that for bit of fun! My favourite is to take a group selfie of the whole table haha. I can't wait they should go down well! X

I bought some personalized ones of bay, only cost £2.25 each and they looked fab when they arrived, kids were well chuffed with them.

Sorry not got a photo of mine... but managed to steal one for you.

Oh wow I hadn't even thought about this. At the moment we will only have one child attending who will be my flower girl, and aged 2 and a half by the time we get to the wedding. I have no idea about kids, another thing to put on the research list!

We bought some activity packs from the land of pound, they have some party bag fillers that are 3 for a quid. So the older ones have the puzzles, colouring books and pencils. The younger ones we have some small toys and books. We got some mr men and little misses box set board books from the online rainforest shop, and split them among the number of children. All placed in some paper bags (theme colour from the bay shop) with coloured tissue paper sticking out on top, hope they go down well.

I've been looking for ideas as we have 3 older children coming- my stepson to be who's 11 and his cousins a boy 11 and a girl13. Thought about disposable cameras but they've all got ipads, considered a l*go pack but they were like £20 so I've given up. They won't have to sit still for long, my lad will be fine and I've already warned bil(2be) about his lad as he's a bit of a nightmare.
