Ermmmm no! He has put alot of thought into the music but at first he was picking songs he liked but not thinking about the lyrics. He kept choosing the Michale buble one that says "Im glad that your the one that got away". I had to keep reminding him it was about a break up. He kept thinking about the script too. All of their songs are about a break up!

Tough one, depends what he's like. My OH has actually picked most of our music but accidentally. He's suggested songs and I've listened to it a few times agreed, so he's basically chose them, but I wouldn't necessarily leave them down to him to surprise me.

Absolutely not, no, never, no! I welcome OH's input and suggestions (and will not make any wedding decisions without running it by him first) but on such an important day I am not willing to be surprised in front of all our guests... away from the guests however... I'm really looking forward to exchanging wedding gifts with each other and this year I've not dropped any gift hints so that will be a (hopefully nice) surprise.
OH and I aren't very confident in general and absolutely hate being the centre of attention, so we're actually having a first dance alone in the bridal suite whilst our guests are finishing their dessert/having coffee. If you guys are more outgoing then I don't see a problem with letting him surprise you - especially after all the hard work you've put in, it might be nice to relinquish control over this one aspect.
