No, I'm getting married on 17/02/14 (thinking of changing the date due to the possibility of poor weather), it's good to get a date though :D, I've been going mad on what I want, I've made a huge folder on my laptop of ideas
have looked through magazines and shop windows but not tried anything on x

Ooh we've got our hearts set on 23/5/2015 :) Same as you - done a lots of virtual planning, but nothing concrete. Soo looking forward to dress shopping! Think we've found our venue though, hopefully it'll live up to expectations when we visit it...

Hi everyone! We got engaged 1.1.11 in London after almost 5 years together! We've been together 7 years in April and had originally said summer 2014 would be the wedding. However after pricing the venue we have both fallen in love with and through going to a few fayres we set the date last month for Saturday 1st August 2015. I'm a teacher so has to be Easter or summer really! As the 1st was a Saturday and we got engaged the 1st seemed the perfect date! We have a home visit booked with our very likely photographers and am hoping to book videographers and cars soon too! Thinking everything else can wait until I'm off this summer and that will give us a nice 2 year countdown! Feels like forever but be worth not having so much pressure to save and having extra little things we'd like! Happy planning everyone! X

Hi. I am also getting married in 2015 but we have booked it for 15.8.15. I am also a teacher and wanted 2014 but the venue we wanted was fully booked so have gone for 2015 instead. I haven't really planned much yet, although the DJ, Table centrepieces, cake and master of ceremonies come as part of the package so that has made me feel more organised than I am. Plus, my parents are finally getting married this year after 30 years or so together, so I am helping plan that and storing all the ideas for use in 2 and a half years time ;) I hope your plans are all going well. xx

Help i was originally thinking of thurs 9th july but am yhinking the week after now as it would be easier for thos with kids school age??? When does summer holidays start??

4th of may 3015 i booked my venue and put down deposit i am also planning alot as hoping to make alot of my own stuff. Seen as im staying in to save for this wedding i thought use the time wisely xx

Depends where you live Lana2BMrsHands... Around me, they finished the 3rd or 4th Friday of July, which is usually in the 20th's... But my cousins used to finish a week before me, so the 2nd - 3rd Friday of July.. I'd say you'd be safest going with the last week in July if you're really concerned about people with kids not making it..

It probably will fly by, Lana. We got engaged over 5 months ago, and it feels like yesterday. Before you know it, we'll be on here panicking that we've forgotten something, and there'll only be days to go...

Im getting Married on 27th June 2015!! Just over a year away girlies and Im so excited I literally can't wait now! We have booked a wedding package in Scotland :D we are getting married in Dumfries.. in a place called Crichton Church then having the reception at Aston Hall Hotel. I am visiting Scotland on Easter Sunday to see the church and the venue, visiting the florist and seeing the photographer so lots of planning for me. I am going to try on dresses Thursday next week with my mum and I have a 12 month wedding planner although my wedding is 15 months away but coz i work loads i don't want to be stressed! ... If any of you other 2015 brides wanna chat just add me on here :D be nice to talk to some other 2015 brides.
