Im starting to panic now, OH is going to Canada for 4 weeks with work for training :(

we have booked in for our menu tasting on 1st July and hopefully we can see the registrar on the same day and just get it out the way on the same day rather than having to go back and forth a couple of days. Ds is coming to our menu tasting with us as he is very much involved in the big day.

Today is the RSVP deadline and Ive still got a couple of people to chase, sent off some messages so hopefully we will know by this time next week, x

12 weeks to go now. Oh is off to Canada on Monday until 21st June so it will be just under 8 weeks to go once he is back.

Still got a couple of people to rsvp why can't they just say yes or no argh, evening rsvps have started coming in and they aren't due back u till end of June.

Took our wee guy to get measured for his kilt (his is being made the same as oh's which can't be hired) the lady tried on adidferent colours kilt with waistcoat and jacket I could have cried he is such ha dome wee guy and looked so grown up. He's only five but really tall for his age, I can't wait for everyone to see him on the wedding day, all eyes on the bride hmm not so sure now :-)

Everything seems to be coming together smoothly but I can't help wonder is it too smooth.

Contacted the suppliers last night just to confirm things are in place for the day and hopefully they will get back to me that everything is in order.

Everything is getting exciting now Elizabeth! Your hen sounds awesome, I'm sure you will have a fab time. Love the idea of staying in a lodge xx

HEN WEEKEND P1p3rdam Dundee.

We all met at mine on Friday and headed to the lodge with hot tub and Sauna went or a shop and spent the friday in the lodge with lots of alcohol and munchies had pizza for dinner played some party games and it was a blast.

Saturday we were chilling out at the lodge about 2 pm we started to get ready for our night which I didn't know what the plan, I went upstairs about 4pm everyone was waiting for me with cocktails and 'hen party bags' my sister done amazing she thought of everything. then we headed out to a cocktail making class for 5pm it was great unfortunately we all forgot to eat lunch and the cocktail class we thought we would make 2 cocktails each oh how wrong we were we were all steaming after it but we headed to the restaurant or dinner however some people had to go back to the lodge as they were that drunk they couldn't function the ones that stayed enjoyed dinner and then we went onto a bar which was dire so we headed home for the alcohol we had in the lodge, the plan was to go for dinner then onto an 80's bar which would have been great but wasnt meant to be we still all had a ball.

Sunday we chilled and had lunch in the lodge, them me my sister and one of the other girls went Quad biking (it was my hen weekend and i wanted to do something I hadn't done before) OMG it was EPIC and I cant wait to do it again. we then went to the restaurant onsite for dinner it was rather disappointing but we still made the most of it. then went back to the lodge and chilled again with crisps and dips and I was in the hot tub again lol chilling with a couple of beveridge's :).

we all got up early this morning and packed and went for breakfast in the bar area it was delicious and we arrived home at approx 12 noon today.

All in All I had a truly amazing hen weekend and my sister/bridesmaid couldn't have gave me a better hen weekend if she tried I am so grateful for everything she done to make it great and to my 5 friends who made the effort to attend and had a great time.

Just been reading through. Everything looks great. Love your ring and the cake looks fab. Menu sounds great too. So exciting! Not long to wait now :) xx

My hen night was fabulous, 4 people pulled out but it was their cash they lost not mine, food was amazing, music was amazing and i couldn't have asked for better company.

Had a bit of an issue with my cake ladies and had a bit of a panic they were going to pull out however they have now emailed me the invoice so all good, (think its just teething issues with them taking over)

Got my final dress fitting in just over an hour and i feel sick, im scared ive put weight on and it wont fit.

It was perfect its now in my friends spare room,

What a buy week we've had, feel like my phone has gone non stop. we need to conclude the missives for the new house by this friday so the solicitor has been on quite alot. also had a call from the piper to go over things for on the day as well as the videographer and the dj from the venue, we weren't going to have him but glad we do as it will be more atmosphere than just an ipod dock for the last hour.

I had a spa day today with my mum, sister (BM) and one good friend would recomend it to anyone i was so relaxed and had to have a nap afterwards, I also took my mum for dinner, she does loads for us (as does my dad) my mum doesnt get a chance to chill out and relax she helps us with ds, got her own business and also looks after my ailing gran which all takes its toll on her so was good to see her relax for a bit.

Cant believe its 6 days until the big day, i am not stressed at all and everyone keeps saying how calm i am.
