The Lordleaze Hotel is a delightful, privately owned, 25 Bedroom Hotel; set in a secluded area on the Somerset, Dorset and Devon borders.

The Lordleaze Hotel is a delightful, privately owned, 25 Bedroom Hotel; set in a secluded area on the Somerset, Dorset and Devon borders.

Originally an 18th century farmhouse, the hotel has been recently redecorated offering a comfortable, country hotel with a warm and friendly atmosphere. It is the perfect place for business meetings, entertaining or for a romantic getaway on the edge of Somerset.

We have an AA 3 star Hotel Rating, Taste of the West Gold Hotel & Restaurant Award and 1 AA Rosette Award for Culinary Excellence.

The Hotel is pet friendly, certain bedrooms can be booked to have your well behaved dog stay with you at a small additional cost. We also welcome Dogs in the hotel grounds and Bar.

It was Perfect
I had my wedding reception at The Lordleaze Hotel last summer and it was lovely. The staff were so helpful and got back to us really quickly with information, we were also able to decorate the room ourselves so it was as we wanted it. Our room was perfect for us with doors going onto the outside patio area. Everyone had such a good night and the staff definitely played a big part in that. Thanks to everyone at The Lordleaze!

We had our wedding reception at the Lordleaze on Saturday. We would highly recommend the hotel for any brides and grooms looking for somewhere to celebrate. The staff are very helpful and organised and were great throughout the organisation of the wedding! On the day the food was beautiful and many of our guests came to compliment us on that. The staff were attentive and professional and helped to make our day run very smoothly. We had exclusive use of the hotel which worked perfectly for our guests travelling down. The gardens provided a beautiful backdrop to some of our photos. We had an amazing day! Thank you so much!

Thank you so much to you and your team for all your hard work to make our son and daughter-in-law’s wedding a wonderful occasion. It was just as Tom and Lauren wanted, a ceremony, delicious food and a party all in one intimate and comfortable place, where they and their guests could stay and relax. As they discussed their plans with you, you listened, made some suggestions, reassured and delivered on the day. You and your team were brilliant, working tirelessly throughout the whole weekend to look after us all. There was nothing that was too much trouble. We truly appreciate everything you did to make Tom and Lauren’s wedding and the whole weekend into a most memorable and special time.
