The Marine Hotel & Spa offers a unique and elegant venue for a romantic wedding celebration. The hotel boasts many stunning features that will enhance your day, including our gorgeous hotel grounds, breathtaking views across the Forth and a fabulous, Italian chef at your disposal.
The Marine Hotel can cater for all size wedding parties. Our large, brightly lit Bass Rock Suite with floor to ceiling windows make the view of the Firth of Fourth an idyllic setting for your big day. The Bass Rock Suite is an exclusive space available for you and your wedding party with its very own entrance and private bar complete with a wide range of beverages for all your guests to enjoy. The Bass Rock Suite can hold up to 180 of your friends and family for your ceremony & wedding breakfast and then up to 200 guests for your evening reception to celebrate into the early hours. We can even host your reception drinks and canapés in our Bass Rock Foyer which has a comfortable seating area.
Looking for a more intimate wedding day? Why not enjoy your wedding ceremony or drinks reception in our lavish Drawing Room full of cosy furnishings and complete with the original fire place, perfect for those winter months. Alternatively, you can use our luxurious, private Library Suite with stunning backdrop views of the Firth of Fourth, with its dark oak panelling and warm burgundy colours, this vintage room can seat up to 22 people for your wedding breakfast.
It’s your wedding day and the sun is shining, why not have something different and step outside for your ceremony in our stunning, private gardens. The gorgeous greenery and spacious area can accommodate to all those little extras that you may have thought were impossible to put to reality. We can also host your drinks reception and canapés in our gardens, out in the fresh sea air of coastal North Berwick.
The hotel has 84 bedrooms to accommodate your guests and includes luxury suites for the newly married couple. You and your guests can also relax and enjoy your stay in our world-class health spa along with our neighbouring golf courses.
We have several packages to choose from which will tick many of your boxes in one go. We also try to be flexible to our couples should our packages not suit you. No question is a silly question! We take the difficult parts of planning out of your hands to make it as stress free as possible.

Don’t stress too much about the table plan, things will change and that’s okay. Remember the two most important guests at the top table. Yourself and your partner. This day is about you two.
No question is a stupid question, always ask your wedding coordinators if the little things you want are possible. It's the best day of your life and we are here to help.
If you are having your wedding outside, always ask your wedding coordinator what the back up plan entails. As Scotland's weather is very unpredictable, we will be prepared for each season.

Congratulations to all our newly engaged couples! I'm Amy and I'm one of the wedding coordinators for the Marine Hotel & Spa. I have 10 years of hospitality experience and have now joined the company since August 2019. I can't wait to meet all of our newly engaged couples. This is an extra special time for you all and here we will look after you every step of the way! We welcome all kinds of unique, extraordinary questions and will absolutely tailor your day to suit you and your new long life partner! Should you wish to come and see myself and our beautiful venue, please reach out to me. Please note that the Marine Hotel & Spa is temporarily closed due to COVID-19.
